Yep — mine too. For the record, I’d never have gotten SEQUOIA AMPHIBIAN because A) didn’t know how to spell SEQUOIA and consequently B) never even thought of the damned word.
Battled with this one for awhile. The problem was the Q options were so limited by the box. Thankfully saw AMPHIBIANS eventually. Couldn’t pair it starting with the S. Mercifully realized I could switch it to AMPHIBIOUS. Threw some SEQUIN(s) on that and was done for the day. So, there may not be a point in putting lipstick on a pig, but there is one to putting sequins on a frog. Still annoyed about WHATABOUTISM. That is not a real word.
Same here. I had to leave and come back to it later. Took a long time to finally get AMPHIBIOUS, had got Sequin/s much earlier. Wouldn’t have thought of Sequoia – only got Quoi with that sequence of vowels, no “a” after u-o-i that I would’ve thought of.
