      1. Lots of “UN” words rejected today. I wanted UNCHEWABLE to work. Seems like a layup. UNMATURABLE was also rejected. And my favorite rejected word was NUMBERCRUNCHER.

        1. BRAWL – LUNCHMEAT
Result of a bologna shortage before the snowstorm
          OR
Ham and Pastrami walked in to a bar… lol

    1. This was a day of defeat for me.
WEALTH ENCUMBER Use all letters but I had to connect them with HERE.

Likewiae CLUBMEN WRATH with NEW for a connector.

    2. Bernie Horowitz

I went quite happily with the OA, Brawl Lunchmeat. No doubt your Lunchmeat Tableware will be part of the weaponry. I’ll sit the battle out, though. I mesn, I hate olive loaf as much as the next guy, but I ain’t gonna fight about it.

    1. UNRENEWABLE – EMBRANCHMENT° (OED) 23/2
      “The Road Not Taken”

      And UNRENEWABLE – ENTRENCHMENT 23/2
      The Slough of Despond.

        1. Mark, And I tried leatherware encumber . Should have done what I usually do when LB doesn’t accept a good word, just Google “is……. a word?”

  1. I GOT OA, BUT SURE WISH IT COULD HAVE BEEN REVERSED TO MAKE A “LUNCHMEAT BRAWL” 🤕🥴 THERE ARE SO MANY GOOD WORDS HIDDEN IN LB TODAY

    1. Huh. When I tried WEATHERABLE, the game wouldn’t take it. I actually tried UNWEATHERABLE first, and when that got rejected, I tried WEATHERABLE and that got rejected too.

      1. Same here. Neither WEATHERABLE nor UNWEATHERABLE were accepted, though both should be. Tell a sailor that there is no such thing as an unweatherable squall and see what reaction you get.

  2. What with finding a continual stream of words like LUNCH, LUNCHER, LUNCHMEAT, MEAT, BUN, TABLE, TABLEWEAR, NUT, CUCUMBER, RANCH, BAR, RUM, CRUNCH, CRUNCHER, MUNCH, MUNCHER, CHEW, CHEWER, CHEWABLE, I found myself getting hungrier and hungrier working today’s LB. 😂

    1. The fast few days the same..my wok was overflowing yesterday…and I’m rather ashamed to have tried lunchmeat as it’s luncheon meat where I come from. And Brawl Lunchmeat sums up my primary school life.
      “Good game” today.

        1. Yes, but beware the wrath of the Ultracucumber!

(Ultracucumber only didn’t work cause it’s a proper noun or hyphenated or something)

  3. BRAWL — LUNCHMEAT

I spent a half hour trying to pair MALTREATMENT, BUMBLER, LURCHER, BRUNCHER, TRAWLER, and CHEWABLE, but couldn’t see anything. Found LUNCH and then LUNCHMEAT and had found BRAWL earlier. Never saw TABLE.

  4. BEWARE – LUNCHMEAT sans a connector

    bc it’s fair warning
    or fare warning

I found BRAWL as well, but not at the same time as LUNCHMEAT 🙀

  5. Besides previously mentioned found some playful solutions:

    CHEWABLE EMU UNTRUE

    WARBLER RANCHMAN NUT

    CHERUB BLUEMAN* NEWT

  6. Tried carbuncle turntable enablement tubercular clubmen unclench weather wealth health mutabletremble. Seemed there would be more answers today than found

  7. Tried valiantly with ELEMENTAL, UNLEARNABLE, WEARABLE, BATHTUB, NUMERABLE, BLANCHE, BATHTUB, CURABLE but you win this round LB.

  8. Defeated today. I even had BRAWL but never got lunch. And tried BEACHBUM but NYT d8dn’t want to play.

    Better tomorrow I hope.
