    1. LB has it in for me lately. I’ve struck out more times than not recently.

      My bed shot today:

      CHARTING GULF FRY

I also looked for the most inefficient 3 word solution i could find:

      HULA ANTIAIRCRAFT TRIANGULARITY

    1. I tried CHARTING GULFY too, and was rejected. Didn’t even think to check it on a word-check site until I saw your comment, but it was unanimously accepted, so now I’m counting it as a solve. (Had ANYTHING, would have never thought of FULCRA.)

  1. FULCRA — ANYTHING/ANYTHINGARIAN (got the latter before I relialized that the -ARIAN added nothing to the solve.

Couldn’t do much with TRINITY, ARTIFICIAL, FAIRY, etc.

  2. Samuel Hanwich

A lot of solves today, don’t remember ever seeing so many that didn’t include at least a few more commonplace words (including the OA).

    1. My guess is the person who comes up with the LB puzzles every day heard somebody say “fulcrums” recently, got pet peeved, and published this puzzle to platform proliferating personally perceived proper pluralization.

  3. OA quickly, and FARTHING GULCHY* as well. (*OED)

    Also CHARTING GAYFUL*

*Googlebooks returns many legitimate examples, including a description of “gayful geishas” in Japan, a collection of 19th-century psalms: “…And wore a mask of gayful guise,” and this quote from a 2021 book about Heidegger.

“Heidegger apparently was blind to the gayful, playful, frolicking, dancing aspects of Nietzsche’s writings.” 🙂

    1. I also tried TRAYFUL LARCHING*
      * This means to go hiking in peak foliage season. Like BIOCAMP, which I mentioned a few days ago, larching seems to be used often on social media but is not in any dictionaries yet. Kinda like “fleek”back in the day. Haha.
