BOULEVARDDITZ
OA.
OA too.
No go. I live on a boulevard. That makes me the ditz.
OA immediately.
OA. Took me awhile to find BOULEVARD, then DITZ jumped off the page.
Sigh… Another loss to LB.
DOUBTER RIVAL LUTZ
VALID DOZER REBUT
BOULEVARDIER / RITZ
I would’ve never seen DITZ. I guess I am one…
I saw Ditz and Ritz but missed Boulevard.
OA also.

Oops, EDZU has ED on one side, back to the drawing board.

I could finish it in 3 .
Doubter- Revival- Lez
Was surprised that LB accepted Lez !
*DRUZE-ELABORATIVE
*DRUZE good in Wiktionary
BOULEVARDIER-RITZ
Douze or Druze – Elaborative was as close as I got. Frustrating puzzles today. Thought for sure I’d be able to finish it when I saw vuvuzela. But no such luck.
I wanted TROUBADOUR to work, but i got nowhere with it . To save time I went with 3 words:
BIRD – DOZER – REVALUATE
Have fun y’all! There’s tons of words in there!!
I struggled with TROUBADOUR too! I also went with three:
BUILD – DOZER – RELATIVE
Yes Elaine! Your solution is more efficient 😀
BOULEVARDIER-RITZ
BOULEVARDIER — RITZ
I saw RITZ right away but it’s so short. I almost threw in the towel today before finding BOULEVARD and then BOULEVARDIER (that is one awful cocktail, then again, I hate mixing whiskey with sweet).
Spent 30 minutes with -ATIVE words (ELABORATIVE, REITERATIVE, RETARDATIVE, etc.)
Also found BIVALVE, ZEOLITE, REZERO, VALVULAR, TRIVET.
LB did not accept ZOUAVE, but it might be considered formal (?)
Troubadour Rivel Lez
Valet Troubadour Ritz
Board Drivel Lutz
✔
Almost gave up on this one as soon as I saw that jumble, but decided to play around with it for a minute or two first. Glad I did, got the OA pretty quickly.
BOULEVARD DITZEL*
*( from Radiopaedia: A ditzel is an informal term widely used by radiologists to refer to indeterminate small pulmonary nodules.)
I submitted BOULEVARDIER RITZ
but not before wrestling with a bunch of threesomes:
OUZEL LIVEABROAD DAT
VIOLET TROUBADOUR LUTZ
A colorful act at Holiday on Ice.
LIVEABOARD and TROUBADOUR are both excellent finds!
Since -IZE won’t work with today’s matrix, it prevented dozens of solutions!
Thx Bill D. Tough Z today. had a lot of two-worders that were short by 1 letter. Such as DOUBTER RAVIOLI, no Z. Same with DRIVEL LABOURITE*
Pardon the typo. Should be Ritz. Saving Lutz for later. 🙂
OA this morning.
Got stuck on troubadour. And then on vuvuzela.
Didn’t see Boulevard either.
DOZER RIVET TUBULAR
Good grief!
Took me half a day to see BOULEVARD!
( / DITZ )
Balzo outdrive ( a headdress worn I 1530s by Italian noblewomen) I hate this kind of day where there are so many great words and you don’t see the only one you really need

I got stuck on ultraviolet .
