A tough nut to crack!
Yes! Took a while because this time the IZE didn’t have it.
Yep. OA.
😁 That’s the theme, Vlad.
Especially difficult to let go of EQUALIZE.
Easy peesy find today after SQUINT, found HAZEL, then HAZELNUTS-SQUIB (definitely felt like an OA kinda day)

OA.
I have to say that I’ve been using many times SQUIB as part of a solution.
OA. Spent far too long trying -IZE words
Why not habitualize ?!?!
OA almost immediately. I started with SQUI words and then saw that HAZEL was leftover. Added the NUTS and it all came together.
Couldn’t get bezique to work unfortunately. Ended up with oa.
OA in short order after briefly flirting with SQUI-words and IZE-words. Happy Saturday!
HENEQUENS* – STABILIZE.
HAZELNUTS — SQUIB
Found SQUIB early but couldn’t much with it. Went on to the -IZE words (EQUALIZE, INITIALIZE, STABILIZE, LABIALIZE). LB doesn’t accept HABITUALIZE but it is in the OED. Nevertheless, I couldn’t connect to that pesky E. Tried chemicals (ASTATINE, AZINE, BENZENE, BENZINE) but had the same issue. Found HAZEL but it took me quite a while to put it with NUTS and connect with SQUIB. Tough matrix today.
