Took me three minutes, with a first attempt with BREAKWATER, but couldn’t make it work, so went with WATERBIRDS and couldn’t find sulky or anything easy, but the saw SUKIYAKI and thought, nah, won’t work, and it did! Sukiyaki is a Japanese hot pot dish with meat, vegetables, tofu, etc.
WATERBIRDS-SUKIYAKI it is for me.

My two solve is TAKEAWAYS – SUBSIDISER. I have no idea why I didn’t spot the more efficient SUBSIDER, or better yet, SUBARID. Took an hour in all, ALIOW.
Spent time trying to connect words like WATERWAYS, SUBWAY, YARDBIRDS, SEABIRD, SWASTIKA, WAYWARD, EASTWARDS among several.
