☕ Happy Monday and a good new week!
One of the last Duckpin bowling alleys is in Billerica Massachusetts (or it was there 10 years ago when I last took my daughters there…)
CAPITALIZED – DUNK
TANTALIZED – DUCKPIN
PACKETIZED-DUNLIN immediately here (loved the first word because of how many letters it knocked out straightaway). To PACKETIZE is to bundle data into manageable units (thank you, techies, for coming up with that one!) and a DUNLIN is a wee brown bird – hence ‘dun’.
RF and Kanishk, looking forward to seeing you here soonest!
Good luck, all, and happy Monday!
Packetized diluent
For me.
Nice one!
NITPICKED – DUALIZE. It helped that NITPICK appeared in a previous OA not so long ago.
Good job Miss Irim. Kanishk-boy, I’m missing you so much already. 😉
Love that, great job, RF and glad to see you here!
C’mon, Kanishk!!

LINEUP PACKETIZED
LINEUP PACKETIZED for me too. Late as always, but I got there.
Nitpicked Dualized
PLATINIZED DUCK
Unlap packetized
OA. I’m very boring. Tried packetized never found unlap
Lineup packetized
Tried penalized ducktape . Getting a good laugh at realizing I’ve heard duct tape wrongly all my life. Haha!
You are wrong about being wrong all your life. It was, in fact, originally called “duck” tape, being mad waterproof “duck” fabric. Later on, it became “duct” tape, because of its supposed effectiveness for sealing duct work. Search duct tape vs duck tape.
See also catsup vs ketchup😀
“Made of”
Thanks srednas49 .good to know.
Ha, I always used to call it duck tape too and thought I was wrong. Glad to know that’s not the case. Thank you!
“Duck Tape” is also a trademarked brand of duct tape, playing on the similarity but also confusing things further.
PLUCKED DENTALIZE here. Ours is not to question why – ours is just to try words until Sam agrees 🙂
Yes, that’s how I play too!
Yes! I got plucked and dentalize ok, and wondered what he heck dentalize means!!
😄Exactly!

Panelized ducktape (w)
Hi Bill. You had Panelized while for a while I had Penalized. That’s from watching way too much hockey!
Just so you know, Magnolias grow where I live. From what I have read, there are hardier varieties that do well here. But I bet they are much smaller than the ones you have in Mississippi.
OA Today.
Posting late because we were very busy until about 2:30 Eastern Daylight Time.
Had a few good words that went nowhere fast including antecedent, telekinetic, penalized and tantalized.
Hi Catherine. Those are good words. I was going to submit packetized denticulated for the long ball but Mark already had it. Yes Magnolias native here and can get gigantic. I have two in the yard maybe 60 feet tall. I have to cut volunteers in the flower beds all the time and they regrow from the stump too. That’s cool that they grow in a colder clime too
And btw, hockey very popular everywhere now as you prob know. I remember being enthralled with les habitants in Stanley cups in late 60s , way before the NHL expanded into all the warm weather states
Just realized Maple Leaf fans prob don’t care much for canadienes
Hi Bill. The Habs are my second favourite team. But the Leafs are my favourites.
Love to hear that hockey has a following as far south as Mississippi.
The next step is to gain an appreciation for Curling, the second best game on ice.
Quick OA today.

Though I prefer nitpicked – dualize
