Looks like I’m first up today! Excitement! Too bad the OA is all I have to offer. Given the highly restrictive array, it may be the one and only. Let’s find out.
They only alternative I can see is a riff on the OA, VEHICULAR – RITZILY.
By the way, did you see the Limerick I posted in your honour yesterday evening?
I did NOT see it, DW! Thank you in advance for the limerick, which I’m sure I will enjoy greatly, and which I will go check out right now. And thank you for the heads-up!
The OA is all I see too, Bernie.
A new color showed up: CLARET. It’s in the red/pink family. Other colors today include LILAC and TEAL (a regular).
The Scientific Units category, usually not numerous, produced ACRE, CAL, HERTZ, RAYL, and LITER and LITRE for both US and UK. 🙂
Slow LB day.. onto Connections and Mini. ☕
Same. OA.
Yep, OA. Took a while to see vehicular.
Ditto!
When I first looked at the puzzle I thought, hoo boy, this one could take hours. But, fortunately, the OA popped out shortly thereafter.
Will try to come back for the birds…
I see PELICAN and PEACOCK. I’m sure you’ll find more 👍. I see the American White Pelican frequently by the lakes around Denver.
Oops, wrong day. I didn’t clear out the cache. 😟
That’s a great bird! We only see them occasionally here in Ontario, usually during migration.
🐦 ARACARI, CARACARA, CITRIL, RHEA, TEAL, TIT, TUI 🐦🐦 ATTILA, HARRIER
Somehow I knew that RITZ would be a part of the OA. This one took me a bit.
I was thinking crazily not ritzy. Oh well, got there eventually.
Glad to find the OA after fiddling with CIRCULARITY and VERTICALITY.
Yeah. I noodled with those guys for a while, too.
Whew, that OA was a bit of a slog; riding around Las Vegas in a swanky, rented Limo wearing my jankiest tuxedo, and writing out an outline of a script for a Ratpack revival show tonight at the casino.
(with an attempt at TI for MMVC from yesterday.)
So many words, none of them Worked. I especially had high hopes for Lazuli or Lazulitite.
Got bested today. Oh well, there’s always tomorrow!
Ugh. I gave up. Got too much tunnel vision with words I could make like CRAZILY/ER, VERACITY, HAZILY/ER, and UVULAR and trying to find possible compounds with YEAR, HEAT, CITY, VEIL and EVER, and too frustrated finding words I wanted to make but couldn’t like VUVUZELA and CAUTERIZE.
I gave up too 😛 my word list was: CALCULATE CRAZIER HALTER HAZIER HEARTY HERTZ LAZIER REVEAL REVERTER VERTICAL
