    1. OA in under a minute and it would have been even faster if I hadn’t mindlessly gone ‘Reflexing’ before having a sip of coffee.

  1. FLEXING-GROUCH
    *EXOERGIC-CHINFUL*
*EXOERGIC good in Merriam-Webster, Collins, Wiktionary, Scrabble UK (SOWPODS)
    *CHINFUL good in Wiktionary

  2. One of the things I like about this game is that there is no perfect correlation between how easy a puzzle is and how many two-word solutions there are. In this case, there are very few two-word solutions. The puzzles I find most gratifying have several, but it takes a while to find one. (As anyone who has been here since close to the beginning will know, I am notorious for disliking puzzles that only have one two-word solution, no matter how easy it is to find.)

  3. OA in a minute. Polar opposite of yesterday . TI: what the mental muscles feel like today after complaining about dognap before

  4. FLEXING — GROUCH

Those were the first two words that I found. Definitely, my fastest solve ever. If I have time, I will look for others.

  5. OA after dumping INFLEXION when I saw the ‘IN’ at the beginning was superfluous. Relieved it was so quick! Now on to other delights.

  6. OA, it was pretty straight today.
However, encouraged by DOGNAP, I ventured into all possible bizarre compound words. Like Foxinchurch, Forechin, Inexile, crouchingfox, etc.

  7. Took me a while– after a while, I found CROUCHING, which left FLEX with no connection. When I moved the ING to FLEX, the connecting word was obvious. I guess Oscar got swole– trash must be heavy.
