Not possible
Left out the N
DOUBTFUL — LARYNX
After seeing the -FUL suffix, I then saw LARYNX and worked backwards.
I really wanted ROUNDABOUTLY to work but I could pair it. It only leaves the FX so maybe someone else can think of something (??)
I got stopped by ROUNDABOUTLY too.
Kinda sorta the same thinking (but in a more ROUNDABOUT LYNXY way to OA
First time ever getting it in 2 and I did get OA!
OA
So many possibilities, but no OA today: FOUNDRY LAUNDRY TROUBADOUR TURNABOUT ROUNDABOUT DOXY FOXY BOXY
After ROUNDABOUT limited it to just FX left, I realized the key was finding a solution where the F and the X weren’t in the same word. I also had putzed around with it enough to realize the X word would be the shorter word. So I started looking for the longest words I could find with F in them and having spotted the suffix -FUL, focused there first.
*ROUNDABOUTLY (not ROUNDABOUT) – sorry for the typo
The hardest thing is abandoning such great finds….my block was boundary
Doubtful—Larynx—the next 4 years of health pronouncements under RFK.
Give this man a prize.
Yes, dysphonia strikes again. OA Doubtful Larynx has gotta be a one-off.
OA here in under 10. Found LUXURY first, then with the remaining letters found DOUBTFUL. Had to stare at the remaining letters for a minute or two – I don’t think the coffee’s kicked in yet!
Amateur opera singer on opening night with the jitters!

I saw Luxury right away, then several other possiblities (I wanted Roundabout to work also) but not Doubtful. Barnyard + Outflux use all the letters; I linked them for the threebie Barnyard-Dobro-Outflux. ALIOW
OA. Definitely spent some time with Luxury and Outflux. Finally saw Larynx and then Doubtful was easily spotted.
OA quickly today
OA,
ROUNDABOUTLY, FAUXBOURDON good in Merriam-Webster but not LB
I did hang way too long with ROUNDABOUTLY. But no joy finding a pair.
Also loved abundant/abundantly,

Abondanza!!
Forgive the monologue…. I’m having fun talking to myself.
BALAFO* OUTBOUND DRUXY*
I had a hard time letting go of troubadour… even with the o,u, and r repeating. I also liked boundary, boxout, and really wanted tunaland to be a word.
I had my DOUBTs but found my voice… I mean, LARYNX.
doubtful – larynx
slowly went from lynx to larynx
Struck out after spending forever on LAUNDRY, TROUBADOUR, BARNYARD, and most frustratingly ROUNDABOUTLY. Didn’t see LARYNX.
