      1. The Letters of Lavender

Happily found the OA. Twice in a row!

Failing to find a solution twice in a row
(and more) will give a negative momentum for me.

But, I just can’t decline solving letterboxed. It’s just so wonderfully challenging puzzle.

        😉😊🤗😉🙂

        1. It truly is a great game. For me, learning new words, through LB, has led to new ideas, which I never would have explored otherwise.
          🙂 ☕

    1. Me too with OA and joyously quick as opposed to some recent challenging days. Like the others, I couldn’t quit LB ( even after VUVUZELA 🥴) Keeps the gears of my mind oiled.

      1. Were you here for Jaguarundi, Steph? Drove almost as many to the exits as Vuvuzela…
First hit on Found Datively, which takes the prize for efficiency, then Foundation Naively and finally Foundation Novelty (unique face paint), which wins for TI.

  1. Some anagrams lurking in today’s array:

    LEVITATION : VELITATION
    ANTIDOTE : TETANOID

    FLUENT : NETFUL : UNLEFT

    NOVITIATE : EVITATION*
    TELNET : NETTLE*

    ATTENTIVE(LY)* : TENTATIVE(LY)*

    ☕☕

    1. For Letter Boxed there are groups on Facebook and Reddit, which I belong to. For Connections and Wordle there are also FB groups, but I have not looked further there.

  2. Had NATIVE in my mind so after finding FOUNDATION and seeing what was left, I immediately went with:
    FOUNDATION-NATIVELY

  3. OA today though almost gave up by settling for a 3-word solution.

“Connections” leaves me cold. No idea about Rappers or Movies. The “LetterBoxed” crowd seems like the smart, cool kids that I’d love to sit with at lunch if they’d have me.

    1. I like that my teenager can help me from time to time with Connections. She’s not quite ready to take on LB, at least at the level of the two-word solution.
It’s funny, but I remember failing to solve crosswords as a kid because I didn’t know the references to pop culture (TV, movies, music). Now, I find that I’m aging out already!

    2. I usually try both, but often I can’t do both of them well. Tricks of the mind. Same with other puzzles, but a good feeling when it works out.

  4. FOUNDATION NAIVELY for me too.
FAUN NOVELTY YIELD came first. And by the time I found FOUNDATION I had forgotten about NOVELTY.

  5. Spent ages unable to see anything over six letters, then realised -IVE was there, then saw -IVELY and in about ten seconds got FOUND – DATIVELY.

  6. Found FOUNDATION from the get-go. Later, I tried NOVELTY. But never together, so no solve today. That’s how it works sometimes.

  7. FOUNDATION–NAIVELY

after trying–and failing–for almost an hour and coming back to it two more times during the day, i finally got it in two! 😉

  8. Here is the full list including Scrabble words:

** Don’t look at the list if you haven’t finished solving the puzzle **

(The first number is a count and the second number is the number of letters used)

    1 – 13 found / datively
    2 – 17 foundation / naively
    3 – 18 foundation / natively
    4 – 17 foundation / novelty
    5 – 14 fovea / audiently
    6 – 14 fundido / ovately

    7 – 18 ivyleaf* / foundation
