Sides of this Letter Box are:
POKTRHLCSDEI
The answers are:
STEPCHILDDORK
CHORDS—STEPLIKE 14/2
An alternative, Chords Spikelet, for me. Mostly a product of haste. Steplike chords make more sense. But really the official dorky stepchild is the best so far. Uncommon, that.
With this array I anticipate many other inventive solutions!
Best I could do today was ORKS-STEPCHILD. Not 100% sure what orks are, to be honest 🙂
Good one!
I think it’s an alternate spelling of ‘orc’, a creature in “The Lord of the Rings”.

Official answer first.
But
Prehistoric Childlike has a certain ring to it
as does Storks Stepchild 🙂
Thanks, Mark, I’d been wondering about a possible LOTR connection.
Nicely done on CHORDS-STEPLIKE by the way. If I’d looked all day I don’t think I’d have found that one!
LORDSHIP – PICKET 14/2 at least has that appeal of incongruity to it; look forward to seeing better attempts from the rest of you guys (the official answer already got the better of me).
The gods are on strike! ☺
That’s what I got, too, after PRICKETS – SHITLORD wasn’t accepted.
They obviously took issue with PRICKETS
Comment of the week, Sota21!
Snnrrkkk!
Sprockets-stepchild
Oh, good! I was stuck on sprockets but couldn’t see a way.
Doctorship – pleck
Doctorship–Pickle, here
Was surprised to find that ‘shiplike’ isn’t a word.
Rocks Stepchild
I started out with prehistoric then either cordlike or childlike. But I liked lordships then skeptic better. This is a several times now that I have found multiple two-word solutions. Some of them I like better than the official answer.
So rare to find something no one else has mentioned yet PRICKLETS-SHOD which is what i wish my Wheatens were when they walk through summer grass
I got pricklets shod as well.
Pricklets and Shod for me too. I didn’t even know the first was a word!
PREHISTORIC CHILDLIKE
Ugh: PRICKET / TOEHOLDS
ROCKS – STEPCHILD for me.
Not as efficient as the official answer, but slightly less perjorative.
Can rocketship be one word?
Rocketships-sold
I’m afraid not; looks like an E for effort, TK 🙂
TK- I spent a very long time with rocketship, but try as I might, could not find validation for the single-word.
Stepchild dork… That is harsh!
Hate to be that kid at the family reunion.
LORDSHIP-PICKET
Prehistoric childlike
Ditto…Prehistoric Childlike
