Well done for congratulating yourself on your superior brainpower Agent Mark. Yes it was my opinion as others are too polite to say. Although someone thanked me last time for expressing such an opinion. Look word.tips gives all 76 answers I don’t need to come here to see them repeated plus tons of other disallowed ones (wow your computer has got access to other dictionaries!) and I don’t like scrolling for ever to find amusing comments from the triumvirate and others. You do know that you and Hal could carry out your private backslapping chat via WhatsApp or similar?
You missed my point. My point was that I sometimes get the impression that some people on this site (maybe you, maybe not) think that I just press the EASY button and voilà, there’s the solutions. It may be that way now, but it took me over a year to build MY solution. I’m tired of defending it and of people trying to tear it down. I know I have built a better mousetrap compared to the other online solvers I have seen. I didn’t mean to insult you, but you have, at least mildly, attacked me on this point previously. Your irritation on excessive scrolling does not mean I do not get to post my solutions. Thank you.

I just want to add to this conversation. I think there is room for both perspectives here- I am siding with neither Mark nor Adrian in this situation, and I really don’t want a repeat of what happened between me and Richie months back. But I do want to voice my opinions.
Mark’s program, as he says, is clearly the result of years of work and ingenuity, and I don’t think anyone should dismiss that achievement- and since the time I have been playing LB, I have always been intrigued by the way you manage to come up with all these solutions with even the most obscure words from various dictionaries.
At the same time, Mark, you do need to understand that the enjoyment of Letter Boxed for most of us isn’t just seeing what solutions exist-it’s finding a solution ourselves, then coming here to discuss our approaches, discovering new words, share our unique solutions. I feel that this joy is diminished when we encounter an enormous list of solutions at the very top of the forum. It takes away that feeling of satisfaction of finding a valid two-word combo that no one else has gotten yet.
Nobody needs to take away Mark’s accomplishment, and nobody should have their own enjoyment of the puzzle taken away either.
Perhaps a suitable adjustment would be to post the list a bit late, maybe towards the end of the day, so that we can come back to this site to see what we missed out on?
A balance between the two would make the experience for all of us on this site better and more enjoyable.
I agree with Kanishk. It takes the joy out of this puzzle community conversation to see your program-generated solutions at the top of each daily thread.
Mark, you totally miss the point of this place. Your insistence that you are not violating explicit rules sounds like the foot-stamping of a child, or the concrete but clever obliviousness of an Asperger’s patient.
Here’s an analogy: Suppose there was a place like this where people came to share their personally created puzzle-solving programs (like the one you made). Every day, some puzzle would be posted online and people would try to create programs to solve that puzzle. These people would then come here to share their strategies for coding and programming and the programs they created to solve that puzzle. Suppose also, however, that early every morning, somebody (let’s call him “M”) with high-end AI tools would come here not to share or ideate, but just to post an exhaustive list – generated by his AI tools – of all the plausible ways programs could be created to solve the puzzle.
Suppose the people object, telling M that they want to share the programs they have created with their own smarts and creativity, and that having all the avenues for program-creation identified every morning by M’s AI tools ruins the fun . Suppose M then responds that he is using his smarts and creativity to create the AI prompts and agents that then identify all the puzzle-solving-program options.
Surely M has missed the point here. So have you and for the same reasons.

@Kanishk, I respectfully disagree based on one simple fact: this is NOT the solving site. The joy you speak of about finding a solution happens on the actual NYT game site, which comes BEFORE one comes to sites like this.
Nevertheless, I knew that reaching full automation would generate mixed reactions, so I read the forum rules carefully. There is no rule limiting how many solutions a member may post, how those solutions are posted, or even when they should be posted.
Finally, since only a small handful of people here seek more than one solution (Bill, HAL, Simon, Samuel, Bill Duffin, etc.) why should it matter to people who stop playing after they’ve found just one solution and then come here? The sharing of strategies, the learning of new words, and the general camaraderie should not be diminished by how I play Letter Boxed.
I will look into hiding my solutions somehow, as Donal Lyons has suggested, but that takes time too. Until then I’ll add some sort of spoiler alert in the header of my report.

Mark, again and again people have told you to stop, and you’re on an ego trip needing to share your efforts. I thought it was because perhaps imbalance is a noun and not an adjective, but then found out that it can be used as an adjective! Go figure.
The word list in letterbox really does appear to be quite random sometimes.
Also started with IMBALANCED and DROVE, which was accepted everywhere else, then COVALENCE and EMBRAID, the second of which was accepted by some sources, then BROMIDE ENCLAVE to satisfy LB and call it a day.

Starts with just a long word list – lots of possible sources? Counts the length of each word and repeated letters. A long word makes for an easier puzzle.
If Im feeling lazy I cut that list back to words that only contain the letters in todays puzzle. It’ll end up with a list of 50 to a few hundred possibilities. Like eg

Oh boy, does imbecilic seem appropriate to today’s puzzle discussion. I, for one, am not impressed with an AI printout of every possible solution. Waste of space.
Space isn’t an issue on the Web. It’s lack of discussion that is, not imbecilic, but sad. Too many entrenched positions in too many places.
