  1. Back to normal, so now we can see yesterday’s OA was indeed Froze Ectoplasm, and not, for some strange reason, my solution Zamac Craftspeople.

OA for me today, with alacrity. I would have thought it was the only 2-word answer, but here’s Kay to prove otherwise! Erstwhile is a great find and as it happens is a favorite of mine, but Epitaxy was a new one on me. I don’t think it’s gonna make it into my quotidian vocabulary….

  2. Whilst Taxpayers – added a S for no apparent reason. Got stuck on erstwhile but couldn’t do anything with the E so I’m pleased to see it was possible!

  3. OA. Didn’t take too long, but was ready to give up regardless because I thought the X was going to factor into some obscure suffix I wouldn’t know. I spotted WHISTLE/R, however, which kept me going, as of felt too efficient to not be part of the solution. While noodling on the leftovers I eventually realized TAX was an overlooked possibility, which led to TAXPAYER — and the leftovers spelled WHILST, which wasn’t far off from WHISTLE after all! 😁🎉
