Still a place of craft, but a bit more ethereal:
WORKSHOP – PARADISIACAL
CHOWKIDARS – SLIP 14/2
Ah- just learned another new word.
Sneaking past the gatekeepers, or ‘giving the chowkidars the slip’
Yes, along with our best wishes for Happy Diwali to the Subcontinent; the word is of Indian origin so, hopefully, any newly elected gatekeepers of similar heritage will be watching their step…
If you try that you might get the CHOWKIDARS SLAP.
got CHOWKIDARS SLIP
Hi, Viswa! Would you yourself be of Indian descent, as the name might suggest?

Same. But I wasted time on dropkicks.

PAROCHIAL LAWKS
In the fun but not accepted category: DROSOPHILAS – SWACK. That’s me in late August every year.

A “wrestler/skater” makes his/her moves.
☺
This one seemed too easy. Got to what I knew would be the official answer in less than a minute.
Really, there’s no pleasing us, is there. “It’s too hard!” “It’s too easy!”
I will mention in passing that I’ve added a new word to my look-for list: Spondulix (or one of its alternate spellings; Spondulacks, Spondulicks, Spondulics). Although I suspect if it ever did show up, it would be rejected, breaking my and WC Fields’ heart. (See My Little Chickadee.)
Got the official, although went down many errant pathways with DARK, DROP, SHIP first. Love learning the new words – guess it’s time to start a list. Keep ’em coming!
Official also after many similar diversions.
Got the official
Offficial
That’s extra official!
I can’t believe I missed this! Was so close. Lots of 3 word answers, or 2 words missing one letter, and I did get Stamp, and Powerful, but separately far apart, ha! I had hoped Masterful might work too.. lots of great words in there… Paramours, Wasteful, Swelter, Stalwart, Soulful, Lemur/s, etc. Some fun 3-word combos.
