      1. 😀 You and Bernie ( and others) are so consistently hilarious. I started doing Letterboxed because I thought the mental gymnastics would help ward off dementia; now I believe it’s the daily laughter generated by the comments that are the greatest health benefit.😍

    1. Anxious Strewth!, also Whine Extraneous. Good TI for both, and as or more efficient than the OA – which, however, is also strong on TI, as something you should report to your doctor.

      1. STREWTH?
Never came across that one before. What a great word, conceptually, phonetically, and in that complex, ineffably connotative relationship between the phonemes and the ideas they represent. Love it

  1. WHARE – EXTRUSION. I’ll admit, I don’t know WHARE – I found EXTRUSION, and decided WHA-E looked plausible and tried plugging an R into the gap.

    1. Whorehouse was likewise rejected. I guess the musical can’t be performed or even named, nor can Revelations be read, where this word list comes from. Which is what, Florida?

    1. I was determined to make EXHORTATIONS work, as it covered all but the U and the W. The best I could do was SNOWSUIT. The first word came so easily, but the second took a while. Not all that efficient, but ALIOW, I suppose.

      1. Rowhouse Exhortation.

Inefficient as hell but I was not giving up EXHORTATION. As you say, all but two letters!

But what two letters. It took some twisting and turning to get U and W in one word :-))

      2. Same here. The closest I came was WUSE*-EXHORTATION, which LB doesn’t accept. Wuse is listed in some dictionaries as an alternate spelling of Wuss. 🙁

        Well done, KP and FRANZEE2!

  2. Radioactive Litters

I failed for the last fortnight except the OA: WORDSMITH-HUNK. I always gave up early glancing at the litterboxed. Today included.

So, I’m kinda still discouraged solving the litterboxed. 💔

  3. WHAE* – EXTRUSION for 13/2. Are there others?

Not my first solution, mind you; my eyes leapt immediately to WHORE* – EXHAUSTION, possibly because I recently rewatched Unforgiven.

  4. For the last few days, i was unable to access this website because an IT update seems to think this website is not safe. Somehow i can today.
    Anyway, lightning fast solve today

    Wore Exhaustion

  5. Output is a sampling of minimal triples (14/3), unchecked, unfiltered, in alphabetical order, from a set of many hundreds.
    AXIS—SHUNT—TOWER, HEWN—NITROUS—SAX, SNOW—WRITHE—EAUX, TAXER—RUINS—SHOW, WHOA—AUNTS—SIXER, WROTH—HAUSEN—NIX.
