Oh, I dunno… I’ve got plenty of adjectives for okra. “Loathsome”, f’rinstance.

OA today. Really it was a pleasure just to be able to play, after being out of commission for the last two days when we lost power in a storm. It was a long, cold weekend. The poor cats couldn’t figure it out, of course, and gave us many an accusatory look. But things are back to normal again, and soon it will all seem like just a bad dream to them (and frankly, to us).

      1. Similar story for me. Had adjective(d) and adjectival early on but was failing at pairing it with a “lock” word. Took a break, came beck several hours later and saw okra.

Also had a few other promising words: evoked, dejected,
        elected, advective, elective,
        electrical, deadlocked.

        1. Had a pageful of potential options. Thankfully tried Earlock on a whim.. was not aware that either that or Adjectival were words. So ADJECTIVE-EARLOCK for me.

    1. Speaking of information that no one needs, I think it’s important that everyone knows that a group of narwhals is called a blessing.

      1. How awesome! I just recently found that a gathering of flamingos is a flamboyance. Collective nouns are so imaginative. ❤️

  1. Another ADJECTIVE – EARLOCK. Surprised by the second word and as I was typing it in I was thinking, no, it’s AIRLOCK, but it was accepted, so off I go to the other games 🙂 Finally, sated with an LB solve! Half the cup of coffee left to boot!

  2. Can’t believe I missed Okra; got Oka, Koa and Adjectival (+ Adjective)… and a lot of 3w 16/3 answers… settled for 15/3: JIT TRAVEL LOCKED

    1. Similar for me. Not using a strict time limit, but with a long string of LB one-offs I’m quitting sooner each day.

  3. After failing with ADJECTIVE (I never did see EARLOCK), I played around with the letters not knowing if I was forming real words or not, and landed on ADJECTIVAL. Honestly didn’t think that would be accepted, but it was. From there, OKRA was easy to see.

  4. Failed again today (over a week with no solves). I tried hard to match with JOVIAL but but couldn’t do better than the disconnected JOVIAL TRICKED.

  5. Here is the full list including Scrabble words:

** Don’t look at the list if you haven’t finished solving the puzzle **

(The first number is a count and the second number is the number of letters used)

    1 – 16 adjective / earlock
    2 – 14 okra / adjectival

    3 – 15 kokra* / adjectival

  6. Another ADJECTIVE – EARLOCK for me today. My wife and I had a baby last Monday (BURQA – ALMIGHTY), and I hadn’t had a solve since then until today. Part of that was newborn sleep deprivation (some days I didn’t even get to check LB), but it has also been a string of downright masochistic solutions: HEXAHEDRON, DOWNVOTING, BLOWFLIES, SUMAC, CHINWAG — can someone call for a wellness check for Ezersky? 😡

  7. I’m so late again!
I couldn’t fit the J in my first 5-word try.
Then starting with J all I could think of was JET (didn’t remember JILT) so anyway got 3-word:
    JET TRIVIAL LOCKED

After that looked up words and saw adjectival. Couldn’t pair it with locker, so backup to OA
    OKRA ADJECTIVE
