Whalefish was rejected and I know it’s a thing. But it isn’t a PSW either. I guess they’re so deep in the ocean that they can’t get the press coverage of the surface fish. They’re better off that way.
I too was irritated that WHALEFISH accepted. Also, I’m not happy that the alternate spelling of NARWHAL was not accepted. NARWHALE is a legitimate word.
