  1. OA after trying QUINCHING, CHORAL, LIQUOR, PLANCHING and a few others.

I got to use GROUCH today, hurrah! AQUAPLANING-GROUCH it is.

A grump driving in the rain.

Have a great Friday and a great weekend, all! See you soon, Kanishk and RF!

After playing around with PHONOGRAPHIC, PORNOGRAPHIC, etc., and quite a few others, came to the conclusion pretty quickly that it was going to be some garbage answer. Glad I didn’t waste a lot of time on it though! (Kind of surprised CLIQUING and CLAQUING didn’t sneak by somehow!)

    1. Samuel Hanwich

Think I actually even tried PLAQUING and GROUCH(ING) now that I think about, just never would have thought of the OA.

    2. Radioactive Flower

Hi, Sir Samuel, I tried CLIQUING, CLAQUING, PLAQUING too. Thought it would lead me to a solve.😊😉

    1. My solution as well. Not surprised it isn’t the OA, but I did expect the OA to be a bit more accessible/less obscure given what was there to work with.

  3. Radioactive Flower

Two hours went by in a flash without a solve. That’s the beauty of letterboxed, time flies when it’s difficult, a good way to occupy and use my time which I have plentily. Even though I failed, I enjoyed it today, at least I found so many good words to exercise my brain. It is not too restrictive today. Still I failed. If cliquing, claquing, or plaquing is a word, I would have a solve.
    ……………..
There’s no way I would have found the OA.
    ………………
    5/6.
    58/65.
    -end of streak-

    1. *hugs* What a wonderful way to put it. I love words and so I don’t mind even when I’m shrieking in frustration. Maybe some days, I just need to think, ‘You know what? I’m tired. Today I’ll do it in 3.’

Have a wonderful weekend, RF, and ‘see’ you tomorrow!

Very difficult today. Because we use the term,
Hydroplaning, the term Aquaplaning was totally elusive.

  5. Didn’t see aquaplaning!! Did see chronographic iconographic quinoa quinine hangnail liquor planching grouching popcorn anaphoric phonographic pornographic archaic gurgling planographic coupling quenching couponing clinician paranoid chaplain pogonia laughing rhino quininic paraphilic iguana and others
