    1. Yes, and also Governmental Lumbago.
I had Lumbago Overturn first, and then Gumbo Overleant for one less letter.
Also found and abandoned, among others:
      Embalm / Embalmer
      Vulgate
      Numbnut
and there’s that damn Numbat again!

  1. GUNTER – REMOVABLE 15/2. A large variety of prefixes & suffixes to choose from (OUT-, OVER-, MEGA-, -TABLE-, -MENTAL). I attempted ROUTE, TURBO, TURBAN, MUNGO, TERGUM, MOUNT(ABLE), GOVERN(ABLE), GOVERNMENTAL, and VERBAL. I also tried my hardest to marry up my favourite NUMBAT -to no avail (it’s one of a kind, anyways).

    1. Gunter is a new one for me – but that can be said of just about any sailing-related term…
And yes, there’s that damn Numbat again! Always creeping around in the undergrowth.

  2. UNMOVABLE – EGRET on the very first try. I have to say, though, that I have never met an egret that was unmovable.

As I had some extra time, I toyed a bit and also found LUMBAGO – OVERTURN, which a little Advil did for me when I woke up today.

  3. I really should get to work, but this arrangement of letters is too much fun. I will leave with this dangerously suggestive solution: VALUABLE – ENGORGEMENT.

  4. Hubby got unremovable ergot (yikes)
    I got bourg governmental
    And governmental labour

I like this game because I learn new words.
