The answers are:
PSYCHICCAJOLERY
JOEYS—SPHERICAL
“baby kangaroo?”
🦘
Building on the official:
POLYPSYCHIC—CAJOLERY
Spheric Cajolery
CAJOLERIES, for an even longer one
joeys spherical = kangaroo zygote
My first image with the answer was actually a baby kangaroo spinning in a circle.
Dizzy Roos is a good band name.
SPHERIC — CAJOLERY
A different take on the official answer.
SPHERIC-CAJOLERY here as well. Covid brain be damned! Was a bit miffed at CAJOLER not being accepted – if you have CAJOLERY happening, who’s doing it?
Official.
Official
Joeys spherical
JOEYS – SPHERICAL 14/2. Having spotted SPHERICAL, and being desperate to marry it up with something, I just gave JOEYS a try & -voilà!- the answer came from Down Under… On balance, however, the amount & -with all due respect to our pals in Australia in this instance- the quality of words that are unexpectedly accepted, still barely make up for (the amount & quality of) those that are mysteriously rejected.
CAJOLERIES – SHAPELY
I jumped in with Spheric Cajolery, but I think the official answer is better thematically, unless we’re talking Magic Eightball, and they’re more enigmatic than persuasive. Unproductive sidetracks included Jalopy and Calypso(s). Hated to give those up…
Joeys Spherical is excellent, good on everyone who found it!
Official, though I think the shorter CAJOLER should have been allowed. I really wanted to do something with APOCRYPHAL, but no…
I also jumped on SPHERIC-CAJOLERY 🎱🙏🏻 without seeing the official. My PSYCHIC abilities could use some CAJOLERY today 🔮🤷🏼♀️
spheric – cajolery
Joey spherical
I tried cajoler which was not accepted. I didn’t see cajolery.
CAJOLERIES/SHAPELY 17/2
PYRO—OCH—HAJI—ISLE
LOP—PSYCH—HAJI—IRE
LOCH—HAJI—IRE—ESPY
JAI—IRE—EPOCHS—SLY
My quiet quad quest quandary continues. It’s challenging when adhering to a 15/4 limit. I’ve learned some small fundamental words, some in other languages, but it’s a time consuming exercise. I may have to set a time restriction, but not this week. 🙂
JOEYS SPHERICAL
Like ajdetroit, I tried cajoler but missed the y.
POLYCHROIC – CAJOLES for me.
(Pleeeease may I have more colors!?)
Like DW I struggled with APOCRYPHAL, for way to long.
And missed ‘JOEY’, despite my pending trip to Australia.
Official here. Was bummed I couldn’t make JALOPY work.
