I had an alternate 14/2: GRAHAM MIDTOWNS.
HANDMAIDS-GROWTH came in at 15/2. With all of the prefixes, roots and suffixes available, lots of first words popped up, but no way to use the remaining letter ls for a second word.
MISGROWTH-HAND is 13/2.
Interesting which prefixes are accepted and which aren’t. I tried a lot of promising mid- words that didn’t work out (midthaw, say).
And the blue ribbon goes to NPD for Misgrowth – Hand!
I ended up settling for a couple of 14/3s (eg, Growths -Sim – Mand). Not proud of it.
