Sides of this Letter Box are:
NXBDMTPIUEGL
The answers are:
EXPEDIENTTUMBLING
(IN)EXPEDIENT—TUMBLING
±⚡ 🤸
PLUMBITE—EXUDING
???
Why the question marks ? It’s a good solution, though chemical terms often miss out.
Yes, thanks PG. It’s that when I looked it up I thought I should have known already that it was related to lead (Pb).
Sweaty with lead salts? You’re in a bad way my friend.
I love Plumb as a word. It kills so many ugly letters (for a short word).
No letters are ugly, how can you say this?! 😂
Expedient- tumbling
Had tumbling early on, but expedient took a while!
OA. Found Tumbling immediately. Exempt was only missing the D, so didn’t take long to pair with Expedite.
Sorry, typo, Expedient.
EXPEDIENT-TUMBLING also. Method for arriving at some LB solutions.
Or a gymnastics doping controversy.
EXPEDIENT TUMBLING for me also.
Quickest way down the mountain.
Brilliant! I also found the OA, though it took longer than it should have. I was desperate to find the complement to DUMPLING.
I dwaddled with DUMPLING also. After my failure with CHICKPEAS yesterday, I was certain the puzzle master had a predilection for food.
OA — thwart the opposing team’s goal scoring opportunity (and get a tripping penalty).
Plumbite Extending.
When Plumbing wasn’t cutting it I went for something else with lead in it.
PLUMBLINE EXPEDITING
Yes! And here as well after playing with EXULTING for a bit. Got there in the end after failing yesterday for the first time in a while. Humbling game isn’t it?
OA. Thought it might be official, since it came together so easily–after the (my) customary futzing-around-at-the-start period.
PLUMBLINE EXTENDING for those tall walls
plumline – extending as well
Oops plumbline – extending
Same. Long and straight.
I got the same long, straight line as well.
PLUMBLINE — EXTENDING here too. Not speaking metaphorically, of course!
This one seems familiar to me. Maybe I’m going nuts. Deja vu all over again.
Tough week for me. I failed at this game each of the past two days and today I (once again) did the think where i came immediately to letter boxed answers instead of opening up the letter box game. So I failed twice, and then once epically.
And when you see the answers before you see the question, the board never doesn’t look instantly winnable. So all day, I would definitely have gotten this one, but am a fool.
As Susan M says above, it can be a humbling game. But I have to remind myself it is just a GAME. So no-one is a fool, Clayton, and credit for just showing up to play 👍
I bookmarked LB and a couple of other games so I can just tap on the icons to play. I didn’t bookmark this site, just to avoid the situation you (and others) describe, Clayton. It’s always near the top of my Google searches anyway.😄
Additionally Clayton i give myself a nebulous time limit and then with no solve in sight i will come here to find oa. Then I find it takes pressure off and i can often find other solutions going forward or sometimes goofy answers using unsanctioned words. OA today and very quick will go back later and look for more
OA after working bumbling numbed numbing dumpling but the ex- words always came up one letter out in the cold ! Glad I finally got there 😃
OA two days in a row. Might be a record for me.
Same. Got today a lot more expediently.
OA
OA here too
PLUMBITE – EXPENDING
I solve in two most days, but today’s EXPEDIENT • TUMBLING is the first time I’ve matched the official answer.
I found: LINE / EXEMPTED / DEBUG
My fav 3 worder today was Expedited Deb Bumbling.
The first debutant to fall over gets a prize?
OA, and quick today.
Plumbline – Expediting
exemplied- debuting
Sounds like a lot of us got the OA. Glad I got it relatively quickly as well. It’s been a while since I got an OA 🙂
