CLUMPPHRASING
CLUMPS—SHARING 13/2
I saw this one pretty quick today.
Same… easy spotting after starting with CHARMS – SLUMPING for a 14/2
Yep. I just saw CLUMPING—GARISH too. ☺
Good one!
Or the fairly incongruous CHARMS-SLURPING 🙂
Yes! Wish I’d seen that one. Went with ‘Charms–Slumping.’
My answer today too!
Me too!
Love this one:
ARCING – GALUMPHS
I never knew ‘galumph’.
Good one!
HAILS – SCRUMPING 14/2 presented itself right off the bat. I then set out on a quest for a 13/2 but, as soon as CIRLS (- SPHAGNUM) was rejected I gave up. I do anticipate a ton of different answers today.
Slight variation spotted almost immediately — hauls – scrumping
Lots of 14/2s came and went, and I finally gave up on finding a 13/2 and settled for one of them – there were so many I’m really not sure which one. Hauls/Hails Scrumping, probably. After yesterday’s debacle, I wasn’t up for a long search today.
Culms – Sharping
LAUGHS – SCRIMPING. Never got an answer in less than a minute before!
CHASM – SLURPING
CHASMS – SLURPING
Lots of easy solutions today, which is a bit of a relief, but I settled on SCHLUMP – PARING for 13/2 after playing with various longer solutions involving the fantastic word SPHAGNUM.
I took a nap to pare away my schlumpiness, and came back with Schlump Paring.
Unclasps-shrimping. For something different.
CHARMS – SLUMPING
same here steve..(she)CHARMS(while)SLUMPING
I know I should not complain but yesterday stuggled with all the puzzles took wordle to five bee took forever and no where near queen and barely eked out this until late in day. So flying today and I thought oh good can work on puzzles . Wordle in two! Rare. Bee straight away. And now this. Like most everyone so fast. Ah well. Best laid plans…
With PHRASING in CLUMPS
Even CHARMING words SLUMP.
So HAUL bushels of SCRUMPING
And LAUGH at the SCRIMPING
While SLURPING through CHASMS
Of GARISH word-SHARING.
Or pair PARING with SCHLUMPS
In our ARCING GALUMPHS.
Way to go, Jill! Let Wordsworth know what words are worth!
I love it!
also got SCHLUMP — PARING
CURING – GALUMPHS 14/2
Cumulus sharping
Long, but I like it: CHARMING / GALUMPHS
CHARMS
SLUMPING
oh, yes they do!
I was on the hunt for a compound word, which resulted in 2 very long words:
lunchpails – shrimping
Purchasing-glum
I got CULMS – SHARPING 13/2
Laughs Scrimping
