JOSHHYPERBARIC

JOSH-HYPERBARIC immediately, having seen the latter straightaway.
Kanishk and RF, my besties, hoping to see you soonest with your solutions!
Good luck, everyone, and happy Monday!
I figured hyper- could be in the answer and found josh quickly. Took me a few minutes.
OA for me. Game ends when I saw the HYPER- prefix. But before that I was struggling especially with that pesky J.
Well done Miss Irim. See you soon Kanishk-boy. 🤗
Ugh. Another one-off, I suspect. What a fiendish grid – I spent 30 minutes trying to come up with a solution, but was unable to form a J-word longer than even four letters.
Finally saw HYPER- after what seemed like AGES, but thought I had already tried HYPERBARIC for some reason so tried HYPERBASIC, HYPOBARIC before entering HYPERBARIC again and JOSH was already there.
Irim and RF, congratulations, the triumvirate succeeds again! Until tomorrow.
Also if HYPERBARIC is a word, then HYPOBARIC should also have been accepted.
OA, and a good point.
I think the longest J word may have been JOJOBAS. Of course, there was nothing to do with it.
OA. But took me forever. Kept thinking there had to be something else with the J. Josh(er)(s). Jibes. Jojoba(s). That’s all I found. Had Hyperspace a long time before Hyperbaric.
JOSH / HYPERBARIC
JOSH-HYPERBARIC

+WIK, *OED
OA.
OA
Josh hyperbaric
OA took a while. Am surprised Bishopry was not accepted.
Also HYPERBARICS* SHOJI
*cited in New Oxford American Dictionary as a noun.
