      1. OA here too. I thought it sounded vaguely familiar, but couldn’t remember if it was some kind of whale or tuna or what. I think I was mixing up BOWHEAD and BLUEFIN. Anyway, when I looked it up, it’s a freshwater fish that can live a long time out of water. It’s also a Scottish slang term to describe something so disgusting it makes you want to be sick, with the first syllable pronounced like “ow”. Who knew?!

  1. Hours upon hours as I cursed various options not being possible and Sam not taking TOWAWAY, a perfectly common word, but FINALLY saw TOWNIFY then cheekily tried ABOUGHT and my gasts were flabbered when he accepted it. Someone needs to have a word.

  2. This was a frustratingly narrow puzzle today. Few options. A lot of words not accepted.

    I had BUNFIGHT TWOWAY*
*twoway, no hyphen, is a technical term used in graphs and coding.

    Submitted BUNFIGHT THOUGHTWAY

  3. OA after all the “ghty” words, saw now then bowfin. I thought whale at first too, but just a common Brunel. Interestingly it is described as a living fossil. Takes me back to coelacanths , and a book in elementary school. Grinel!

      1. OA

On this Thanksgiving Day I’m thankful LB bowfin is an accepted word even though I never heard of it before. Love the Fresh Fish comment.
