  1. Conquest tzatziki.

The Greek government are said to have ordered a cutback in the production of tzatziki and taramasalata. This is down to a double dip recession!

  2. Ha! CONQUEST TZATZIKI after a flirtation with QUACKIEST and annoyance at CAZIQUES not being accepted (STONK would have followed).

    Winning after a lucky dip.

    1. Also frustrated by QUACKIEST. Had CONQUEST(S), and knew there was a word like TZATZIKI, but couldn’t quite come up with it. Found CAZIQUES while trying to place it, and was surprised when LB took STONK but not CAZIQUES. I’m calling it a solve anyway when LB uses a word I never really heard of. (Had to look up the others- CAZIQUE is an oriole, STONK is artillery bombardment.)

  3. OA, clear from the beginning QUA didnt lead to answer (at most QUACK), then it must be QUE. Then quickly saw QUEST then CONQUEST.

But took some time to figure out TZATZIKI.

  4. Frustrating puzzle. Never heard of TZATZIKI before.
Tried to make ACQUEST, QUEASIEST, INQUEST, CINQUES and UNITIZES work. Knew CONQUEST had to be part of the OA but failed to find the word from the remaining letters.

  5. OA on first guess. CONQUEST was easy then plugged remaining letters into a word finder. Saw TZATZIKI and thought “Is that a real word?” Tried it and VOILA! It worked. Had to look up definition to see what it meant.

  6. Bombed out today. All I could come with is COCAINIZES SQUAT no K.

    And QUACKIEST* TAZON**
    *the quackiest of quacks etc.
    **spanish bowl

  7. Here is another possibility:
    QUEANS STOCKSIZE*

*I saw this word in several govt reports online. From Google: “stocksize” (one word) is a common convention or technical term within the specialized field of fisheries management and stock assessment literature, used interchangeably with the two-word version.”
