  1. BAROMETRIC-CLANG immediately today

    Kanishk and RF, my lovelies, can’t wait to see you here and learn what your solutions were…there might be quite a few!

    Good luck, everyone, happy Friday & a great weekend to all.

      1. Radioactive Flower

        RECTANGLE – EMBROIL.

        I think it’s a bountiful LB day.

        Well done Miss Irim. You’re the earliest bird today. 😊
        Kanishk-boy, waiting for you…

        1. This puzzle feels like a breath of fresh air after all the devilish ones we’ve had recently – I checked Alice Liang’s solver, and there seems to be HUNDREDS of possible solutions! Already 45 comments today compared to the usual ~25.

          I can see some wonderful solutions on here, what a plethora of options available today! Love your solution, Irim, and yours too, RF. Well done to you both, and to others as well, for coming up with such unique solutions.

          I came up with three solutions today while playing the game on my way home from school; BIOMETER – RECLANG and MICROBLOG – GRANTER (that word has been embedded in my mind since I failed on MICROBLOG – GAWKY – glad I got a chance to use it) – the third being the least efficient but my favourite by far, BROMANCE – ELONGATION.

          This took 15 minutes in all. Very fun puzzle, I must say – Sam should come up with more of these kind. Well done, triumvirate, and good luck and happy Friday/weekend to all!

          1. Well done, triumphant triumvirate, and everyone! Yes, this puzzle was a joy. I didn’t have time to play with all possibilities, but I heaved a sigh of relief when I saw E and R weren’t on the same side. I absolutely LOVE BROMANCE-ELONGATION.

            This feels to me like the point of Letter Boxed – play!

            Till tomorrow!

  2. First pass TI ringers:
    ABIOLOGIC—CREMATION
    ALGEBRICIAN—NANOMETER
    TELEGRAM—MICROBALANCE
    TIMBER—ELECTROMIGRATION
    TRIGONOMETRIC—CELEBRATOR
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Lots of math oriented solutions it seems.
    1. Second pass TI ringers:
      ANAGRAM—METABOLIC
      OBLONG—GEOMETRICIAN
      AMBIGRAM—METALOGICIAN
      ELECTROMOBILE—EMIGRATION
      ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
      Wow! The best LB day I’ve seen in a very long time. I went through them fast so I hope they’re all good.

      1. In the moonlit hall of the GEOMETER, a polished POLYHEDRON floated silently above an ancient TANGRAM table while a TRIANGLE and a RECTANGLE argued over who possessed the greater elegance. The old GEOMETRICIAN merely smiled and rotated the glowing shape one face at a time, revealing hidden TRIGONAL and TETRAGONAL symmetries that neither had noticed. By dawn, even the proudest ANGLE had learned that every CRITERION of beauty depends on where one stands.

        Thanks, ChatGPT, for a paragraph with just math oriented words. I couldn’t resist with all the possibilities today. 😊

        1. Ok, MVUA, aka Radioactive Flower, aka JAF, aka THIS, aka many others, aka SOTA21.
          How’s that for thematic integrity?

        1. I am Mark, Slayer of SotaBOT!

          Remember the good old days? I sort of miss them. I was fast. You were witty. I was doing rhyming, you were doing your LBF game challenge. I guess I’m waxing nostalgic, what’s it been, 3 years, 4? I do admire your skills in the AI world. Have a good day, man, or you go girl, whichever it really is. 👍

    1. Bromantic / Cleg
      Gotta admit that these are two words I never used before and likely will never use again.
      A cleg is a large, blood-sucking insect.

  3. GERONTIC CLAMBER
    I’m in my seventies and yes I do clamber a lot especially getting up from a deep armchair
