Good job, Irim, congrats on the instant solve! Failed today – IFY, SUL and ED was fiendish, I was unable to find a match for MYSLEF and RUBIDIUM. And was disappointed that words like FELDSPAR and DYSPROSIUM were unplayable. Spent almost an hour on this one.

Oh, hon, I’m sorry. Those were EXACTLY my concerns; my muttered imprecation when I saw IFY and ED the moment I looked at the grid is not printable, so I just focused on ANYTHING with an F I could fit in. BELIEF/DISBELIEF was my first thought, but I was sceptical because it looked too simple. I thought it was going to have to be a long, scientific word and would take forever…I just got lucky.
