    1. Yep. Me too. Though first I tried (and LE accepted) Brule – Exhaustive. But I thought Blare had a better chance of being the OA. Wrong ag’in.

  1. EXHAUSTIBLE-EVER here almost immediately, after a first try with LAXATIVE (which left me BRUSH with no way to connect it).

    Looking forward to seeing my besties, Kanishk and RF, with their solutions, hopefully soon!

    Good luck, everyone, and happy Tuesday!

    1. Well done, Irim – I’m on the same boat as you on this one! An instant EXHAUSTIBLE – EVER after yesterday’s failure – glad to be back on track.

      Hoping to see RF soon!

          1. OA. Also Ravishable-Exhaust. Probably took longer than it should have, But at least done before the end of the commute. 113/125, 4/5, 3, 36

        1. Got the OA … VARIABLE – EXHAUST … but first found …
          RAVE – EXHAUSTIBLE
          EXHAUSTIBLE – EVER
          REVIVABLE – EXHAUST
          VISITABLE – EXHAUSTER
          VIABLE – EXHAUSTER
          VERITABLE – EXHAUST
          I was fixated on EXHAUST after first toying with EXHALE.
          As a result, I never saw LAXITIVE or any other “X” words.

  2. BLARE—EXHAUST
    VARIABLE—EXHAUST
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    EXHAUSTER ⇄ REVIVABLE
    REVIVABLE ⇆ EXHAUSTER
  3. Arable Exhaustive. So quickly, that the game was no fun! I like half an hour’s entertainment out of it. Whereas 15 seconds – or having to submit after an hour of frustration – no good!
  4. Catherine Gardiner
    Bristle & Exhaustive
    Saw exhaustive right away and quickly determined that it was likely the second word but it took a little bit of time to find bristle.
    1. I got Bristle and Exhaustive too. Thought I could start with exhaustive as well but good it started and ended with ‘e’ and that helped.
      I’m sure there are more efficient answers within our fellow teammates but was happy with this one’
      1. Catherine Gardiner
        Hi Wendy. While the word Bristle satisfied Letter Boxed, Brûle would have been a more efficient word. I cannot believe that I missed it as I make crème brûlée quite often…that’s because it’s easy and dinner guests seem to like it.
  5. VULTURISH HEXABLE*
    * fell into a rabbit hole here because there is a very weird corner of science philosophy that uses “hexable” when discussing experiments with table salt. Yes, table salt can be hexed. Too bizarre to explain. “Philosophy of Science
    Contemporary Readings” 2002
  6. Ended up with brule – exhaustive as well.
    Was just happy to have found a 2-w answer
    without too much time in
