  1. Quantizes Scarab…
Ed Sullivan’s biggest show was The Beatles’ debut on February 9, 1964, which drew a record-shattering 73 million viewers—roughly 40% of the U.S. population at the time.

  2. QUANTIZERS – SCAB immediately. Took just one minute. Love the OA.

Hoping to see Irim and RF soon! Have a great Sunday everyone!

    13/15, 65/74
    Current streak: 9

      1. Radioactive Flower

I’m here already Kanishk-boy. Waiting for Miss Irim. 😊

I got the OA in 11 minutes.

        11/15.
        64/74.
        Current streak: 3

I slowly typed in A-C-Q-U-I-E-S-C-E-N-T. Had trouble with the spelling. Got the correct spelling in first try. Coz, I had a vague recollection that I encountered the word in the past. It helped that I was a voracious reader from 2015-2021, since I can afford books already. Now, I don’t have the patience to read books. Heheheh

          1. I love reading books too, RF! Even though these days I’m not finding any time to read because of schoolwork and exams and stuff. I’m currently devouring the Lord of the Rings, and I’m loving it so far!

      2. Hiya – I know I wouldn’t have because I’m hardwired for longer word first (though I have worked backwards to get the shorter one first) – and I want my difficult letters out of the way. So OA would have taken me a while had it been a singular solution.

    1. +1 here, QUANTIZERS-SCAB straightaway. Great minds – high five!

Congrats, Kanishk, hon, and I scrolled down to see RF is here already – excellent work on getting the OA, my lovely. I’ll be late tomorrow, but hope to see you then.

Happy Sunday, everyone, and well done to all who have completed or will do so during the course of the day.

      1. Hey, Radio! I always read and enjoy this site, but tend to contribute only if I have something different.

And although you sometimes seem disappointed by missing a twofer, your streaks are much, much better than mine!

…..will you ever post your own puzzles again? 🙂…..

        1. Radioactive Flower

I am not sure if I can post puzzles again. I usually have inspiration when I’m manic and having racing thoughts and ideas. These days I’m just normal. Monotonous and mundane.

          1. Ah, I remember your puzzles (from the time I was inactive on this site). Stay well, RF, your mental health is much more important.

I can post puzzles on your behalf, if you like. I’ve already come up with a couple which I’d love to share with everyone!

          2. Radioactive Flower

On Dec. 4, 2026, it will be 20 years since I was diagnosed with bipolar disorder. Loved and missed those euphoric moments.
            ……………..
Kanishk-boy, oh, you remember my puzzles 🤗…I’m excited to solve yours. Miss Irim will be too.

  3. Got some of the answers posted already. I first tried ENACTERS instead of ENTRANCES but not accepted. It is an older spelling.

    Settled for BANQUETERS SCENARIZE

Also came up with BRIQUETIZES* SCAN
*To briquetize is to compress loose, powdery, or granular material into small, uniform blocks called briquets.”

See “Technologies for Converting Biomass to Useful Energy.” 2013

  4. Selected solutions that caught my eye:
    QUANTIZERS—SCAB
    NECTARIZES—SQUAB
    QUANTICS—SUBERIZE
    BEZIQUE—ENTRANCES
    ZEBRA—ACQUIESCENT
    QUANTIZES—SUBTRACT
    ZEBRAS—SESQUICENTENARIES
A discrete arithmetical LB day, with quantizes, quantizers, quantics, sesquicentenaries, and subtract.
