  1. Radioactive Flower

    SUBMINISTER – REPULSIVE

Found too many words with this array:

    1. Supervise
    2. Pulverise
    3. Televise
    4. Minister
    5. Mister
    6. Minuter
    7. Repulsive
    8. Simpler
    9. Revisible
    10. Turnips
    11. Impulsive
    12. Tributes
    13. Nimbler
    14. Minus
    15. Terminus
    16. Virulent
    17. Surmise

    1. Finally got to IMPULSES-SUBSERVIENT after several hours – helped pass the time at kids’ Tennis and Lacrosse practice. Had many of those words along with
      Miniseries
      Ministries
      Intervenes
      Pluribus
Sublevel and many other less impressive options.

      1. Bernie Horowitz

Same, Impulses Subservient, A slave to one’s passions? A willing slave to someone else’s?

Also Subminister Replevin and Replevins Subminister. A mid-level bureaucrat in the Exchequer.

    1. Hey Rad Flo!
I tried doing your game before scrolling down to see the answers … I didn’t get too far – I found the words
      STAINED
      MAYORS
STRIDELY (not sure if that’s a real word)
but I couldn’t come up with any words from the leftover letters.
But cool – thanks for preparing it!

  2. Wow. I’m the first with the OA today. Thought UNREPULSIVE or IMPULSIVE were likely to be part of the answer but I couldn’t find partners for them.

  3. PIMPLES-SUBSERVIENT
no idea how subservient jumped out at me but it was the first word i tried! then it was a bit of a back and forth to get p, m and l in the first word.

  4. PERUVIN—NIMBLEST

LB accepted PERUVIN but I don’t know what it means and I can’t find a definition, but the puzzle accepted it, and I tried it twice. Taking the win.

    1. Nice find Goldie.
I found a definition in OED:

      peruvin, noun.
Cinnamyl alcohol, a white crystalline alcohol occurring in certain plants.

    2. Hey Goldie!
according to what i think is a us government document “Peruvin is a natural product found in Ambrosia tenuifolia, Ambrosia confertiflora, and other organisms with data available.”
So yeah, I have no idea what it is either.

  5. Pimples – Subservient
…thinking back to high school, I think that I – and my concealer cream – were definitely subservient to those pimples we tried to cover up!

  6. Okay my solutions today:
    4-word
    VIRUSES STUBS SIMPLER RUN
    3-word
    SIMPLER RUBE EVENT
    2-word
    SUBMINISTER REPULSIVE
Subminister must be a UK thing, I guess.
A lot of words LB would not let me have:
    misventures
    stuiver
    blusteriest
    virulents
    repulsives (and variants of it)

But LB likes Replevin and Replevies.
    😎

  7. Too much going on today, so no good answers. Seems only fitting that the best I could do is
Impulsive event turbulent. Chaotic TI. Lol.
