The answers are:
WATERLOGSSHIV
WATERLOGS—SHIV
13/2
THEATERGOERS—SILVERWARE
22/2
I like this one better than the OA!
Me too DHW. 🙂
🎭🍴
Me Three. Got OA but bowing to you on this elegant solution!
Nice!
GOTHS-SILVERWARE for me.
Love this one! Better than the OA
Altogether – reviews
GLOATER REVIEWISH (not sure about the latter but it was accepted) —pretty cool …huh! Hit me up with a comment if you are feeling like it
Same for me.
(ALTOGETHER REVIEWS)
And:
VOTARIST
THALWEG
Votarist is a devotee of a literary movement or perhaps a literary critic.
Thalweg is a surveying and civil engineering term – the line tracing the lowest path water will flow in a ditch or river or even a valley when it rains enough to cause runoff.
Both are very common everyday terms, but TI? Probably not much.
mcbee, possible TI for:
VOTARIST – THALWEG…
Stuck in a rut of devotion,
Drowning in solemn vows.
I got:
Goths – silverware and the OA…
guess I was just feeling kinda stabby today.
Yeah, not as efficient as the OA, but I am enjoying the consensus.
Hey Mvua and Piper – Thanks!
I didn’t think anyone else would think of thalwegs! Later on I got
THALWEGS SAVIOR
which could either be a conservationist or a rainstorm.
I like GOTHS SILVERWARE – I wonder if any of the Goths would have liked LB or what their favorite puzzles were, other than raiding Rome?
ALTOGETHER – REVIEWS here too! I was sure it was the OA! 🤣
TI: Aggregating the customer comments. Basically Yelp!
Same here.
I found TOGETHER – REVIEWS immediately,
but the ‘al’ prefix eluded me for ALmost an hour.
I got Together Reviews Salt pretty quickly, then saw Altogether right afterward. Thought ALTOGETHER REVIEWS would be the OA too.
Together—Reviewal for me.
Like this one!
That’s what I ended up with after a long, long, time.
GOTHS – SILVERWARE
😎
I got silverware first….
Then goths happened…
Aliow
Same
Same here. I picture food tossed this way and that with a variety of sharp implements not necessarily made for that particular purpose.
Word Play:
9 letters:
_ _o_o_ _ _e
clue: something dark
Chocolate
Ms.DEBBIE, chocolate is correct! 😉
Brilliant!
I got WATERLOGS-SHIVA certain my familiarity with Yiddish/Jewish would land me the OA
…where many tears are shed for the departed….
OA.
WAVER – REGOLITHS
I am so proud of it
same here
Thanks for the new word!
That was mine, too. (And also kind of happy to find REGOLITHS)
OOS (Other One Spoon) –
regoliths is a good one! I decided to look it up: loose dirt!
Story of my life.
GOTHS – SILVERWARE
First thing I’d pack for a migration.
waterlogs – shiv
Another ALTOGETHER REVIEWS here.
Now, maybe today is not our day, or perhaps it is just the phase of the moon, but the letterboxed was completely ruined. After the lengths we went through of trial and error, it came to amount to nothing in the end. That’s right folks, the letterboxed today was SPOILED!!!:( After a colleague revealed one of the answers, we knew it was over. Now we all have nothing to look forward to in this day, waiting out the countless hours for a tomorrow that cannot come soon enough. We collectively hope and pray that tomorrow we may find better fortune in our endeavor to solve the puzzle that we hold so dearly.
P.S. Now we only have TWO days to do the letterboxed this week because we are not here Thursday or Friday. It’s because we have off. And also on that note we will not be here next week as well.
To all of our fellow letterboxed enthusiasts, we wish the best for you in all of your trials and tribulations of the day.

😆
I spoiled it MYSELF, by foolishly opening today’s comments instead of these!
Anent which, OA and Altogether Reviews.
Waterlogs/Shrive. A wee extra.
OA. I was desperately trying to solve with a bird – specifically, SHEARWATER – but no joy. Great birds, though! 🐦 GREAT EGRET, GRAVETEIRO, GREAT SHEARWATER, GREAT IORA, RHEA, SALTATOR, SORA, STILT, TEAL, THRASHER, TIT, TWITE, VIREO, TAVETA WEAVER 🐦🐦 ATTILA, HARRIER, IIWI.
DW – thanks for doing the birds 🦅 I like reading them!
mcbee
I’m still relatively new here. Can someone tell me what ALIOW stands for? I assumed All Letters In One Word but that doesn’t track.
And GOTHS – SILVERWARE for me today.
At Least It’s Over With.
a sentiment you will experience with LB if you havent already
But points for All Letters In One Word. I never got that close when I tried to figure it out.
LOVE IT OR HATE IT, I SAW LOGS
(or: LOVEITORHATEITISAWLOGS). Bit of a ‘dad joke’ in there with SAW, I suppose. Anyway, lots of fun today.
Great stuff, KP!
Overhits – Sawlog
I did GOTHS & SILVERWARE
goths – silverware! got it pretty quickly too
OA quickly enough today after a few rough ones.
I went over an hour feeling I was close. Labored with these words in vain 😩:
revivalists, shivers, glovers, visitors,
realtors, sweaters, sweatier, violators,
violaters, vegetative, throatier, loathers,
stealthier, wealthier, reviewers, wishlists
Was also really annoyed that Lothario, a word in the dictionary and playable in Scrabble was not allowed.
Back on the OA train for me today. 🚂🚃🚃
Waterlogs Shiver
Worked on it off and on all day. Finally got goths-silverware.
Came up with plenty of one-left-over two wonders but just couldn’t get that last letter to fit.
