  1. 🧮 ☑️

    Colors: CORN #FBEC5D, ERIN* #00FF40, KOBE* #882D17, KOBI* #E79FC4, OCHRE #CC7722, RUBER* #CE4676, UMBER #635147

Atoms: BOHRIUM ₁₀₇Bh, CERIUM ₅₈Ce, CURIUM ₉₆Cm, NIOBIUM ₄₁Nb

    * LB’s not liking my colors today.
    😠

  2. A very short story; an exercise in word grouping:

The HEROIC HOBO HOMECOMER met the UNHEROIC UNBORN UNICORN and became the RICHER REBORN REMEMBERER.

    🙂

  3. OA here after trying many of the above as well. Figured box had to be part of it, but didn’t see the answer until after working with CHERUBIC. Then the heavens parted and it all fell into place 🙂

          1. I have to admit that it took me a good while just to come up with the OA. Kind of knew at a glance that this one wouldn’t have a lot of solutions.

  4. Not happening this morning, so I left it at three: BUNKUM – MOXIE – EUCHRE. Words from the wayback machine! 🙂

  5. Just the official one for me.
Seems like one solution puzzle unless there is a chemical term involving -oxin

    1. Bernie Horowitz

Checkbox and Numeric floated around in a sea of EVENTUALLY came together in what is surely unique two-word solution. Icebox got a chilly reception. Bunco, Hokum and Bunkum were duly noted – I tried not to take the suggestion personally.

  6. OMG that’s so annoying! I found CHECKBOX ages ago and couldn’t find a partner for it. Ended up with NUMBER RHOMBIC CHECKBOX. So frustrating. Can’t believe I didn’t see NUMERIC.

    1. I also almost missed it, for NUMBER RUNIC CHECKBOX, but then got it right after. Nice to get the OA so quickly

  7. Unheroic was the longest word I could find, but didn’t deal with the limiting x or k. Couldn’t find a two-word today.

  8. OA. It it took a good long time. Looked in vain for a long ex- word. Inkhorn number was lacking. Once I found OA I had to smack myself. 🤣
