  1. PUJARIS-SCOREBOX here.

Pujari is a Hindu priest, scorebox is either a building where they…keep score or a box on a video game showing the score.

Sad to have missed OA, as a word beginning with X is always a favourite!

Kanishk and RF, hope to see you soonest!

Good luck, everyone, and happy Sunday!

      Failed.

Saw BIJOUX. But thought that a word ending in X is a dead end. So, I didn’t pursue it any further. And besides, I never heard of XERISCAPE before. Glad I gave up early.

Congrats Miss Irim! Checking on Kanishk-boy later.

Had BIJOU, didn’t even think of sticking an X on the end, and even if I had I would never have come up with XERISCAPE. Of all the answers I see posted so far, BIJOU is the only word I see that even remotely resembles anything that would ever show up in any context other than a word game.

I saw Bijou & Bijoux (plural of Bijou) very quickly. I was surprised they were accepted because they are the
French words for jewel and jewelry.
But alas, I could not find a partner for Bijoux.
I’m a little rusty on words beginning with X.
