  1. The slightly less efficient BOWLER-REJUVENATE here because I started with REJUVENATOR to get rid of as many letters as possible, so I didn’t see ELBOW. Of course, I saw BOWLER (after seeing BLOWER, which didn’t work) to connect to the first R, then realised REJUVENATE would do just fine and didn’t explore further.

    Kanishk and RF, can’t wait to see you both soonest!

    Good luck, everyone, and happy Thursday.

    1. HA! An instant OA for a birthday present – REJUVENATE – ELBOW were the first two words I saw in the grid. Instant solve so nothing else to share!

      Irim and RF, so glad to see the triumvirate complete and successful – well done, everyone, best of luck to those still trying and a very happy Thursday to all! 🥳

        More birthdays to come for the birthday boy. How old are you now? Mind if I ask…hehehe…

          1. Oh, Kanishk, happy sweet 16!! Wishing you so many more years of learning, joy, and adventure.

      2. Oh, hon, janam din mubarak! Happy happy birthday and may each year bring you more love, joy, blessings, and success than the last – ad multos annos! Hope it has been an incredible day!

        Well done, triumphant triumvirate!

        1. Irim, just curious, does that phrase you used mean anything like janam(joyful) din(day) mubarek(bIrth)?

          1. Bill, ‘janam din’, more commonly written as a single word ‘janmdin’ means birthday (janm -> birth, din -> day). Mubarak means happy.

          2. Mubarak = to be blessed (barak is from the Arabic, akin to the Hebrew bracha meaning blessing. And yes, that was the meaning of President Obama’s first name!)

            din = day

            janam = birth

            I love that you asked! Sorry I just got to it now!

        2. Thank you so much, Irim – that means a lot! Today has indeed been incredible – thank you for playing a part in making it special! 🎉

  2. Radioactive Flower

    BOWLER – REJUVENATOR.

    Mah besties Miss Irim and Kanishk-boy I’m here already waiting for you two. 🤗

    Bowler & Rejuvenate
    Started with Vulnerable but saw no partner word with a J. If I had been a little more patient or observant, I would have seen the more efficient word, Elbow.

  4. OA pretty quickly.

    And a bit of a reach:
    JOWAR REJUVENATABLE*
    *technical term used in economics, science, and Sci-Fi literature.
    “Natural Gas Conversion” 2001
    “The Myth of Social Cost” 1978
    “The Washington Post” 2008
    (JOWAR is a durra, Indian grain)
