Bill, ‘janam din’, more commonly written as a single word ‘janmdin’ means birthday (janm -> birth, din -> day). Mubarak means happy.
Mubarak = to be blessed (barak is from the Arabic, akin to the Hebrew bracha meaning blessing. And yes, that was the meaning of President Obama’s first name!)
din = day
janam = birth
