CILANTRO-OVERGROWN has a touch more TI. I did not find ‘cilantro’, however, it being known as ‘coriander’ in these parts. 🧐

I cannot eat cilantro either. Apparently I’m allergic to it. Tastes like soap. 🤮
Wouldn’t have guessed they are the same. Cilantro never tasted like much of anything to me and then somehow my taste changed and it is the strongest worst soap taste imaginable. Any amount makes food inedible. Oa. Btw
That’s a genetic mutation. My son-in-law has it too. It’s pretty common.
Well, shucks. Found Overgrown right away and missed cilantro (which I use a lot!).
The difference where I grew up (California) was same plant but: coriander=the seed, cilantro=the green leaf. And apparently some folks are born with genetic makeup that makes it taste like soap.
Right. I think of coriander as a seed, too (and cilantro, obv as a leaf). Who knows where I picked it up, though. I’ve kind of lived all over.
Cilantro is the green leafy herb. Coriander is the seed it produces.
You can also use the root as in Thai food, but I don’t if it has its own name.
