    1. Radioactive Litters

      MAW – WORLDLIFYING

Solved through quick inventions. All it needed was to spot the WORLD, which lead to WORLDLING, WORLDLIFY, WORLDLIFYING. However, I didn’t spot the WORLD easily. Took maybe 40 minutes. After that, all the other words previously worked on are irrelevant. They deviate too far from MAW – WORLDLIFYING

          Other One Spoon,

That is way better! Oooh, how I missed GAMIFY…UGH…I was around the corner GAMILY.

Wordlifying is unsatisfactory. Just invented but accepted. It is not even searcheable on Google. I already had the FY. But, GAMIFY. Ugh.

  1. Same.
    windfarming also not allowed.
    However,
    FAMILIAR – ROWDYING
    is allowed…
Though I do not find the word rowdying familiar.

    1. FAMILIAR – ROWDYING too–and quickly. But. . .rowdying? I was shocked.

OK for TI, though: Just them, acting up again.

      1. They’re different words, really. MANYFOLD just means many times, using ‘FOLD’ as in a word like ‘TWOFOLD.’ Sometimes folks just like to skip over simpler words like ‘twice’ and sound like Gandalf, I suppose. (I encounter ‘X-FOLD’ words frequently enough in undergraduate writing.)

  2. Radioactive Litters

    Question:

How to comment when you’re the first one here? I want to comment but i don’t see a comment box.

    Question 2:

How to add a profile pic?

  3. Radioactive Litters

    WORLD PLAY:

    Two-word. Can also be one-word.
    (Never mind the parenthesis).

    (_ _ _ _) (J_ _)

CLUE: an apt reciprocal of J/K, being, JUST KIDDING

        BRILLIANT! MR.CHECKMARK!

Hmmmm..I expect you’ll get a KISSMARK this time! A kiss means ‘X’ or incorrect! XMARK!

RECIPROCAL in math is Y/X or opposite to X/Y. Yeah, it doesn’t mean RECIPROCATE in this context.

So, the RECIPROCAL of J/K, being, JUST KIDDING…

        Is K/J, being KILLJOY!

HOW in the WORLD did you get it? Mr.CHECKMARK!?

        Bravo!

  4. Radioactive Litters

I would have liked Litterboxed to be refreshed early in the morning so that in difficult ones I can give up late in the afternoon. Currently, it refreshes at 3PM, sometimes later, at 4PM which means giving up at night which is not good for bedtime.

I have no problem with MINI, WORDL, & CONNECTIONS. I can play them in the mornings.

P.S. I’m blessed to have discovered NYT Times Puzzle. It gave me something to look forward to for the next day!

P.S.2. LETTERBOXED is my favorite. I fell in ‘LOVE’.

P.S.3. Thank U, Google Discover. It has been 1.5 years since…

      1. Radioactive Litters

Yeah, CONNECTIONS is very US-Specific. Sometimes, i made zero connections. I can’t relate to some. Esp. the slangs.

  5. GOLDFARMING—GROWLY
I was surprised the first word was a word at all, but there you go.

    DWARFING—GRAMINOLOGY*
    DWARFING—GNOMOLOGY*
*Not recognized by LB, nor as a PSW, but it is indeed a word. (Just ask dictionary.com.)

  6. I agree, RADIOACTIVE LITTERS, 3:00 a.m. time frame is rough.
I found the OA but several others using windfarm.
    manyfold – dwarfing
    windfarm – molinology
    windfarm – monology
    windfarm – morology

  7. Unfortunately, neither gnomology nor gnomonology – both found in several dictionaries – was acceptable to LB. They would have paired nicely with Dwarfing.

  8. Had Dwarfing, got nowhere. Had Growly got nowhere. I’ve not heard of a number of these words… who knew goldfarming was a word?

  9. Another FAMILIAR – ROWDYING, after searching FOREVER. Had high hopes for MAGNIFYING and MANIFOLDLY, but couldn’t find pairs for them. Kudos to those who found pairs to GAMIFY, GROWLY, and WINDFARM, as I couldn’t close those either.

However, today marks my 32 day in a row of find a two-word solution, my longest streak by far. It also means I found solutions throughout all of August, which was my personal (albeit arbitrary) goal. Kudos to everyone who continues playing and searching for those elusive solutions! 🎉🍾
