Probably goes without saying, but it all fell into place when I started experimenting with -IUM words. Didn’t seem right to abandon CALIFORNIUM when it took up so much of the board.
Agreed. Although the IUM endings are common for the atoms, I don’t recall ever seeing ₉₈Cf pop up.

Ugh… I spent way too long trying to find any L starting words other than LIMINAL. And I just cannot believe LANDFORM is an actual FACTUAL compound word. I’ve always thought only land formations was correct. 🤷🏼♀️ Oh, also, I wanted CORNFLOUR, DICTUM, and MATRIMONIAL all to work. Alas.
Never got anywhere near the OA or any of the ingenious efficient, TI-rich alternatives presented here. I just plugged stuff in until a solution, however dubious, appeared. Hence: Californium Monodont, Confirmand Diurnal, Confirmand Ductal – and those are some of the BETTER ones!
