WACKO—OUTFOXING
Good morning! I’ve already had time to solve and check Alice Liang – who has NO 2 word solutions. Singular, I’m guessing?
At first I thought there’d be more but the placement outweighed the fact that the letters were not that obscure; well, besides the X I guess.
WACKO was the only word anyone could find to describe the peculiar duchy of AUTOINTOXICATION, where a pompous alchemist blamed every royal mishap on mysterious CITIFICATION, while the palace physician prescribed an ANTITOXIN and the grand vizier demanded immediate NOTIFICATION. During a moonlit INCANTATION, a startled GUANACO crashed through the banquet hall, scattering a TOUCAN, an IGUANA, and one deeply offended OCICAT. The royal orchestra answered with an unnecessarily dramatic TONIFICATION, while the guards attempted OUTFACING the chaos and the court philosopher solemnly lectured everyone about KOINONIA. By dawn, the king discovered that the palace fox had quietly watched the entire spectacle from the throne, apparently succeeding at OUTFOXING.
WACKO-OUTFOXING immediately; what a change from yesterday!
Kanishk and RF, can’t wait to see you soonest, my lovelies!
Good luck, everyone, and happy Tuesday!
A dual day followed by a singular ?
Ah, you beat me to it, claiming singular… I agree. 😊
Oh yes! Excellent observation. And loving your story above.
OA.
Well done to us Miss Irim. I hope Kanishk-boy can join us today.
Clicked on here by mistake trying to check a word. Don’t think I’d have gotten this one.
