        1. Agreed. OA but liked FRUITAGE to begin with failing to fid any EXP starting words to go with it that I could see…

    Word Play:

    (6-) (11-letters)

    (s_ _ _ _t) (m_ _ _ _ _ _ _ire)

Clue: Your neighbor. You just never know that he’s rich.

      Hey, Mr.AgentSmith & Stephfie,

WOW! You posted at the same time…

      unplace / exertive
      evacuant / triplex
      unexplicit / trave

        HEY, Mr.DAREDAVEL,

The OA is none of the above. Wow! You got plenty of solutions. 👍🤗😊

        The OA starts with A.

Had to give up. Can’t think of fresh words because I’m fixated on FUGITIVE, REFLEXIVE, & PURGATIVE.

Also found GRAPEFRUIT leaving only 3 letters.

One of a few times that I gave up where the OA is doable.

    1. PURGATIVE is how I got to today’s solution. I couldn’t figure out how to use the remaining letters (EFLEX? FLEXUP?) until I figured FIGURATIVE could work. EXPEL was then easy to find.

Previous puzzles stumped me only to make me wonder how I missed the solution.

I do like GRAPEFRUIT! Didn’t see that one.

    2. Same here RF, so frustrating. I thought for sure both grapefruit and purgative would have a match. I also found “regurgitative” and couldn’t pair it. 😩

Also found… fixative (and gulper used the remaining letters but there was no way to link them), reflexive, guiltier, guitar, fruitage, eruptive, exault

      😵🤬

      1. Exact same experience and list of close calls! I kept on trying far longer than I should have because of how solvable it felt. Usually when I do that the solution is absurdly obscure and I kick myself for wasting my time. Today it really WAS doable, and now I’m kicking myself for not seeing it. 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️

  3. OA in about 30 seconds. 4th straight day with a really fast solve. This can’t possibly continue for much longer, can it?

  4. Here is the full list including Scrabble words:

** Don’t look at the list if you haven’t finished solving the puzzle **

(The first number is a count and the second number is the number of letters used)

    1 – 15 figurative / expel

    2 – 17 fluviatile / expurge*

  5. Bernie Horowitz

OA, reasonably quickly. Another one off – thanks for the confirmation, Davel – after a coupla days of insanely productive arrays. Feast / Famine.
