KINGFISHERRITZY

KINGFISHER—RITZY
OA
suspected singular solution, again!
Same — exactly!
My god, what an intimidating array – only two vowels, and both of them on the same side! IZE, GH, and FR in the same puzzle?! I was sure I wouldn’t be able to solve this one – but eventually, OA in almost five minutes. Initially thought the OA would contain Yiddish.
This is almost certainly yet another singular solution.
RF, and Irim, best of luck, waiting for your solutions. Happy Friday and weekend to everyone!
Also thought -ING or SYZYGY would lead me somewhere, but no
Yay, Kanishk, congrats!! It took me the same amount of time, about 5 minutes, though I roundly cursed him as soon as I saw the array: Z next to *the two vowels in the array*? No IFY possible, no GH, no NT, and, of course, the all important IZE was impossible. That leaves aside things like ZITHERN.
I was tripped up by HERTZ early on, sure that was it, saw KINGFISH and tried to connect it with HERTZY (yes, I knew it wasn’t real), then remembered that it’s KINGFISHER, and realised immediately that RITZY (which I had noticed earlier) was the way out. Yes, it was only 5 minutes, but this array is just downright nasty. Honestly, Sam, do better – because if you cut off words, no one can learn them. And the point of this isn’t to be some clever kid, but to play and learn. Move out of the best boy in the class mentality.
Oops, forgot to finish my message: waiting for you, RF, my lovely – good luck to you & everyone and happy Friday!
OA. Not instantaneous but these were my first two words found.
I had the same sentiments with you my besties.
Glad we managed to solve this one. Well done guys! 👍
Almost identical thought process here. Was sure it would be Yiddish. Ended up being a quick solve for the OA. Happy Friday. 104/114, 21/24, 3, 36

Thought of you as soon as I had the answer. Glad to see you back! Everythings changed now (they even say birds are real again). Saw you in the prior comments but kept missing you on days I played. Good to read read you again!
Kingfishers Sitz was all I came up with, in the time I allow myself. Since Sitzy is not a thing
OA. Again I complain about the excess of Yiddish words in this game.
Ritzy? Not Yiddish.
OA but could only find 4 z words to work with.
OA. Figured out quickly that ritzy was probably part of answer. Eventually saw kingfisher
Got the OA after a slight delay. Started out with Shitz. Remember Schvitz a while back? That led me to RITZY.
Considering how flashy a kingfisher can be the word coupling with ritzy seems on point.
Now I’d like to see a puzzle that demands halcyon as one of the OA components.
OA. Once I realized that the only vowel that could be coupled with Z is Y, the answer came quickly.
OA
I would like to buy a vowel…
😁
OA in a few minutes today.
OA for me too. 2 days in a row! Saw RITZY right away, and worked backwards to KINGFISHER.
OA
Fancy bird

Yes! Sometimes they cause my page to refresh and I loose my comment and I
