ALBINO OVERPRICING
ALBINO – OVERPRICING
His fleece was white as snow.
Same.
This was mine, too. Along with: OVERCLEANING*–GEOPROBE* (pretty sure it’s my first solution where both words aren’t recognized by LB)
“His FLEECE was white as snow.” Very nice. Very punny.😂
A play on words that’s not contrived to the point of being groan-inducing! Mine was going to be something about paying too much for Johnny Winter tickets. (Same answer, by the way.)
Same!
Don’t even try to buy a dire wolf!
Good one, This!
Nice! I struggled with OVERPRICING for a long time and couldn’t find the word that ended with an “O”.
Anyone else get overexcited by ‘Prevailing….’? Settled for three as the garden beckons.
Yep. And also by Reprieval. Hard to let go sometimes. Settled on Reprobing Galvanic,
Robocop Palavering
ROBOCOP – PREVAILING
Wait– ROBOCOP is a word??
There is no way Omni Consumer Products did not copyright that 😁
This was my solve today also ROBOCOP – PREVAILING
Few people know Omni Consumer Products sold out to Cyberdyne Systems which developed Skynet and we all know what happened next…
RoboCop prevailing t here oo! I was like, RoboCop? Really? But I’ll take it!

Something out of a horror film, Cleaver Reprobing for me too

Nonbeliever + Repacing
Cavalier Reprobing
Cavalier Reprobing as well.
Not a nice concept.
I’m alarmed. I’ve never considered Letter Boxed to be a snap. I have my share of struggles and many’s the time I’ve given up on a two-word solution and settled for a three. But today’s OA I got in maybe 1 minute — no joke. EVANGELICAL was my first try and PROBE the obvious predecessor. God knows I don’t want Letter Boxed to start becoming obscurant. (I still feel a certain incredulity at its willingness a few years ago to use the nonword RAGEQUIT.) But there’s got to be a happy (or unhappy) medium.
I’m sure I’ll pay for this complaint shortly.
Another Nonbeliever here. 🙂
And slangy BOPO* OVERCLEANING*
UK Collins/MW
Tried to work with BIOINORGANIC and CORPOREAL. No V.
NONBELIEVER – REPLACING
Nonbeliever and replacing. But I was also pretty hooked on prevailing and reconverging
PREVOCALIC – CONVERGING – GIB (darn B!)
ROBOCOP-PREVAILING
REPROBING-GALVANIC
Missed a lot of easy ones today, went with albino overpricing
Probe/Evangelic
CLEAVER-REPROBING
ROBOCOP – PREVAILING (to my surprise!)
I struggled with PREVAILING but couldn’t get anything to go with it. Never would have considered ROBOCOP dang it.
