  1. FIB — BACKCOUNTRY

Spent a lot of time trying to make ANTIBIOTIC work, but no luck.

    Is this an SSS day?

  2. My schedule doesn’t work for extended play, so I’m now just going with what I can inside 5 minutes lol. Ergo…
    Frantic-Cubic-Cocky

    1. Interesting! I give it until 9 am. Then fill any wait times (laundry, dinner) with LB.

Usually, if it’s a tough one, the different time of day gives me better perspective.

      1. I should do that, but instead my overwhelming propensity is to go until I solve it because my can’t-let-it-go-ness offers up my day for Letter Boxed to feast on idefinitely OR I never solve it because something finally pulls me away and I’m usually smart enough to come back to give Letter Boxed seconds, but on occasion I do come back because on occasion I’m going about my day and the solution just pops into my conscious mind from the “backcountry” of my unconscious mind.

  3. Many of us are proud and take pleasure in solving the puzzle; but, when someone minimizes our triumphs by insinuating that the solution was lame and too easy, it dampens our good feelings. Yay to all of us who got the correct answer.

  4. I find today’s puzzle to be beneath the standards of someone with my astoundingly superior intellect and vast vocabulary, and thus refuse to dignify it with an answer.

  5. No solution today: I got lost in the weeds (fatback, infantry, etc) when I should’ve gotten lost in the backcountry.

    1. Well, Judy. Don’t tell nobody, but today I seen the sasquatch!
Now, if you go to the furthest corner of your lawn and say this 3 times, then you done fib backcountry too!
