PHOTOMETRIC – CALF. I was hoping PHOTOMETRICAL would be accepted, because it uses 11 of the 12 letters, and it was — So FOP – PHOTOMETRICAL — but it is not a PSW, so I couldn’t count that.
Today’s birds: MOTMOT, CARACARA, RAIL, and, if double letters are allowed, TATTLER, POTOO, HOOPOE, and HARRIER.
Photometric calf here too. Not the easiest puzzle. And I prefer the pairings that mean something. I think if the puzzle makers developed thematic puzzle solutions to correspond to the day I would certainly enjoy the puzzles more. But one can only hope. The theme on a past Halloween was quirky and fun. Oh well, on with my day.
