This one took me quite a while, but nevertheless, OA in 53 minutes (which I suspect to be another one-off).
I played with the same words as you, Irim, I was delighted to find DWARFISH and was so sure it would get me somewhere (it buried both the F and W), WARDSHIP was another great one, besides FORWARDS and UPWARDS. Then got to HOGFISH, replaced the H for a D, and spotted the UPWARD from what remained.
