        1. FAIRYISM—MELANOUS
          ANEURYSM—MILFOILS
          FUSIONISM—MINELAYER
          INFORMOUS—SLAYER
          AEROFOILS—SYNONYMOUS
          FORESAILS—SYNONYMOUS
          SIMONY—YEARFUL

    1. FOULS-SEMINARY is a most efficient solution, Mark!
The best I could do was the lengthy OA of FAILURES-SYNONYM

  1. FAILURES-SYNONYM
    FOULS-SEMINARY
    *FULSOM-MINELAYER
    *FULSOM good in OED, Wiktionary
    MONORAILS-SYNFUEL
    FORELAYS-SUNIM*
    *SUNIM good in Wiktionary

          1. *ROMNEYAS-SULFURISE*
*ROMNEYAS good in Wiktionary, Scrabble UK (SOWPODS)
*SULFURISE good in OED, Scrabble UK (SOWPODS)

  2. Still baffled by the LB word list. This is not the first time I have tried FLUORINES, which is playable in Scrabble and is also in the OED. Very handy combination of letters. Didn’t need it today, but that’s not the point.

    1. Yeah, that one really bugs me too. Thankfully got to the OA today in short order so I never even saw it to be bothered by it.

    1. ALIMONY-YEARFULS was my solution too today. Took me a long time to get it, though, since I didn’t see (or don’t know) most of the words in other solutions here. I did discover that SURFUSION and FUSIONAL are real words, apparently—but not SURFUSIONAL, according to LB.

  3. SULFUROUS – SEMINARY
in addition to the OA. Was hoping someone had found a pairing for SALMONY but happy to have learned some new words (again) today!

  4. SULFUROUS — SEMINARY

Found SULFUR and then SULFUROUS, and SEMINARY was right there. Quick solve today.

  5. FAILURISM* MONEY
*trendy religious and societal concept in books and online articles. Also in art criticism. Soon to be in a dictionary near you.

  6. OA
I’m relatively new to this game, & only recently figured out that there is always a 2-word solution, so now I’m a bit obsessed. I’m so impressed by the vocabularies I see here. I am clearly out of my league, but having fun anyway, & learning!
