    1. Samuel Hanwich

Same here, got UPTICK pretty quickly, then tried FLAMBEAU with the leftovers, wasn’t really sure if it was a word in English.

    2. OA
Can’t express how surprised I was to get it. Tried Flambeau, chuckling as I went, thinking nah! it’s French! Then to pair it with a word starting in U without an N to use. Well, couldn’t have a more pleasant surprise today.

  1. Not so fortunate today:
    PITIFUL or
    TACTFUL with LAMPBLACK
    couldn’t place the E
    CUPFUL – LAMPBLACK – KITE 🙁

    1. BITEFUL* – LAMPBLACK
      Updated cinnamon challenge.

*Only found in Wiktionary but I tried so hard to close out LAMPBLACK.

      1. Also tried BITMAP – PLACKETFUL** and was left with a PLACKETFUL of starlight.
** Even Wiktionary wouldn’t touch this one.

  2. MULTIPACKET — TABLEFUL

I found PACKET and TABLE right away, but it wasn’t until I added the -FUL that I worked back to MULTIPACKET.

Also looked at BACKTALK, TALKBACK, CAPITATE, CAPACITATE, and TEACUPFUL, but could not connect them.

  3. Found some good candidates:
FLAMBE, MULTIPLE, BACKPLATE, MULTIPACK, EMBLEMATIC, PLATEFUL

    Begrudgingly ended with
    MULTIPACKET-TABLEFUL (18/2)

Just like the Spanish Inquisition, nobody expects a word ending in U… I mean, FLAMBEAU, really?

And not being able to link BEAUTIFUL was beyond annoying.

  4. Started out with CAMELBACK but no matches, then PICKET TABLEFUL which after much trouble eventually became MULTIPACKET TABLEFUL as others found.

    Needless to say, the explicative
    ****** TEMPTABLE
    was not allowed. 🙂

    1. MULTIFUEL-LAMPBLACK

Last week they used “verklempt” which is not even a real word. But multifuel is.
