        Hey, STEPHFIE,

        WOW!!! BINGO!!! Yay!!! 🤓😉😎

        METROPOLIS, indeed! 🤓😉😎

        Double thumbs up!!! 👍👍

          1. Ditto 😎!

            i messed around with
            BRANCHED
            and
            DOUBLE(D)
but i didn’t see any obvious matches for either …

          2. BROIL-LAUNCHED for me too. Took longer than it should have, after trying DOUCHE, BRANCHED, BLEACHED, BUNCHED, CHORAL, etc. Strangely, BRUNCHED is not accepted despite the fact that’s what a lot of people did on Mother’s Day.

      1. my first bird seed for this little challenge is
        HOLISTIC
        CYMBALARIA

would think that “cymbalaria” is a very musical term (cymbal + aria) but actually it’s a genus of flowers 🌺.
        😎

          1. Hi RF – i’ll let you decide … from Wikipedia:
“Cymbalaria is a genus of about 10 species of herbaceous perennial plants previously placed in the family Scrophulariaceae …
By far the best known species is Cymbalaria muralis (also called ivy-leaved toadflax, and Kenilworth ivy) …”
            😎🐝

        Hey, Mr. McBEE 🐝,

The OA is 15/2. The connector is not C.
        Huhuhu…🥴😵‍💫

But, you have a nice solution above. Good job! 👍

            Hey, STEPHFIE,

            Nice solution. It’s a 13/2 too. Good job! 👍

    1. Radioactive Flower

I’ll be back later to reveal a letter before I go to sleep. Keep trying folks! I 🤎 you all!

      1. Radioactive Flower

        ONETOOMANY,

Yeah! You folks are on the right track! 😅

The OA ends in L. 😉

      1. Hi Bill – i think you may have nailed it … my second solution (back at 9:21am blog time) was going to start with BIORYTHMIC but that’s misspelled. If correctly spelled as BIORHYTHMIC then it dies on the YHI line …
        CHARISMATIC
        CATHOLIC
and related words can be found in RFs puzzle

      2. Radioactive Flower

        Hey, Sir BILL DUFFIN,

BINGO!!! You got the OA! WOW! 🤓😉

        CATHARSIS – SYMBOL, indeed! 🤓😎

        Double thumbs up! 👍👍

  1. Undoable Enrich. That’s me!

After the seemingly promising Branchline proved undoable I took the hint…

  2. Bernie Horowitz

Arachnid Double (Tobey Maguire’s stuntman), unsurprisingly the OA. Also Radioland Debauch (shock jocks may shock) and Colorblind Debauch (but at least they’re not all racists). Also Carbuncled Dioch (poor bird!) and Rhodic Carbuncle (a MVUA-sized challenge to find any TI there!) and everything else Carbuncular, just because, well, Carbuncle. And purely for length, Incarnadined Doubleheaded (the Berserker’s axe after the fact). And there’s plenty more where those came from in this fruitful array!

    1. Well, I got UNDOABLE – ENRICH. However, if I could harvest some of these weird pimples, maybe that would change things.

Bernie, that was so gross. Why did you make me do that.

        1. Maybe with the OA they’re just spider bites…

And soon I will become a…
rosy red metallic multiversal non-radioactive friendly neighborhood Spider-Man.

  3. BACHELOR — RUBICUND

Played around with UNICOLOUR, CHLORINE, DOUBLEHEADED, DEBAUCHED.

Lots of good prefixes today with RADIO, ENDO, CHLORO, NEURO, etc. I am sure that there are lots of other solves.

  4. The
    ALCOHOLIC—CARBUNCLED,
    COLORBLIND—DEBAUCHED
    ACIDHEAD—

    invoked the
    —DOUBLEHORNED°, NUCLIDE—ÉBAUCHOIR°

    as he
    RADIOLABEL—LAUNCHED
    the
    ODIC—CHURNABLE°.
    🙂
    °OED:
ebauchoir, n. A large chisel used by sculptors to rough-hew their work.

  5. BACHELOR – RUINED was my solution to an earlier puzzle, so I moved on to DEBAUCH – HOLANDRIC*, which, I think, has excellent TI — almost to the point of being redundant.

  6. OA. I found ALCOHOLIC right away. Then I experimented around a little bit with the remaining letters . With the remain letters, I found CHORDED-DAB. I kept looking around for a better -IC word, and I found NUCLEIC. I tried NUCLEICACID, but LB doesn’t accept that. Right after, NUCLEOID. I had A,R,C,H,D, and B left. Looking at the first five letters, I quickly found ARACHNID. DOUBLE came easy after that 😁😁😁

    ARACHNID-DOUBLE
