      1. Same. OA in under a minute (first time ever!). Love how the brain works. Sometimes you just see it off the bat. Mostly my brain is pleasantly baffled!

  1. DANG! I’m CRYING and ARGUING with myself about the INJURY caused by missing today’s two-word solution. Y’all must be JOKING that I missed the JARGON needed to continue my recent winning streak. GARCON, bring me some DARK, GRAINY bread and a GOURD. I got nothing!

  2. JUDICIARY — YOKING

I saw JUDICIARY right away, but the J and Y connectors were a bummer.

I originally saw YIKING* (which is in the OED but LB doesn’t accept) and then just tried YOKING.

I can’t see too many great options today (C and K on the same side, and the ING suffix isn’t that helpful).

Also saw NOCARDIA* (bacteria) but that left J,Y, K, etc. and I just can’t see any words that use all of them.

  3. Gave up on finding the pangram in Spelling Bee today (which is my made-up win condition for it because searching for every single anagram doesn’t strike me as very fun), and accidentally came here instead of the Spelling Bee page. So I spoiled the answer for myself. 🫤 That said, I’m not sure I would’ve seen the OA today anyway, so maybe I just saved myself two hours of frustration. 🤣

    Glass half full!

    1. I accidentally spoiled (half) the answer today too 😜 clicked on this page—I saw the first word and navigated away. But found yoking after

  4. JUDOKA ACRYING *

Song lyric by Thomas Weekles (1576-1623): “up and down the house acrying”

Just having a little injudicious fun.

  5. Wow, crazily fast, my very first guess was Judiciary and got Yoking right after (realizing Young lacked the k)… yesterday also almost immediately got the OA.
